Can you go through a copper acid solution again after copper polish process before going to nickel if you inspect and still see some pits that didn't get filled with copper on first go around, and get almost next to none pits showing in final product after the nickel, then chrome process.

I got myself one of these and quickly tried it out in the kitchen. Your not wrong about being careful, zapped the wife and turned her into a lasagne.

I've got very yellowed teeth, when i get up in the morning and look in the mirror I think whos that rat on the wall staring at me? As you can imagine, i feel terrible self loathing when each morning im reminded its myself with these bloody yellow teeth. So, my question is. Do you think if I got one of these gadgets from Ching Ching China land, I could clean up my gusset and not have to live life always overlooking my shoulder worrying that any van i see might be Rentokill out to get me? Your honest advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Roland.

Beautiful tool. It must make some really nasty smoke though, lots of fine dust, done of it lead if you are cleaning off paint. You probably know this but I would want some serious extract or at least a powered respirator.

The welding function doesn't look that different from a mig welder but the rust removal looks incredible.

i just buy a big bag of citric acid crystals super cheap about 10 quid and makes up a big solution, really about 3 bags would be enough to dip a whole car in

Very informative. Makes me think this process is worth it only for highly collectible bike parts..otherwise cost will be so high that you can buy a new bike. Anyways, very good video showing all the steps in detail. Thanks !

This was a great video for people who don’t understand how it all works. Years before I got into the need for chrome I always thought it was the chrome that looked like chrome lol, but no, it’s the nickel that looks likes chrome. Chrome itself is a brownish looking chemical bath. The TRUE craftsmanship is the polisher. This is a SKILL. When I developed my line of performance motorcycle parts the biggest problem was always chroming. Getting great looking parts at a fair price and most importantly on time lol. The joys of telling a very good customer about his parts for the bike show this weekend. Sorry you tell him, they won’t be back from chrome plating till next week. ( maybe )😂 and I had that experience way too often. Enjoyed the vid👍🏼👍🏼

Another way to get a smooth finish after stripping is to copper plate the number with thick layer of copper it makes it easy to fill the pitting then Polish to a smooth finish then the copper makes a great base for chroming.

Magnificent ! That's a lot of beautiful work, hence why some people keep the old "patina" instead and insist on keeping it all original because it is easier to do so. Hi. Hi.

@@ChromeandCarRestoration Thanks for reply. Seen you had more in tank than frame but had no idea ya needed that much current. Guess you need more than the .1 or .15 amps per square inch when doing large parts. Just boils down to experience.
