I purchased some Sherpa fabric (sharpa on one side and flannel plaid on the other) a few years ago from Joann’s to make my Mom a vest but I’m not confident enough to make it. I did see where you linked your friends tutorial on how to make a sharpa vest, but it set as private. Would you be willing to do a tutorial on sharpa?

Whooo! All your videos are great, but this is exceptionally great. I expected the usual tips and tricks type of video, but this was surprisingly inspiring. I would love to see how you created the mushrooms. Stunning. FYI - Mettler seraflex is similar. I think it was not mentioned. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤

Having a unique voice is not a bad thing - it makes you special! Not many people can be recognized by their voice! Haha! Actually, your voice has always reminded me of Yael Stone's voice - of Orange is the New Black. Quite endearing really! You are sweet and I love your channel. It is very informative. Thank you for what you do!

You dear are wonderful !!! Your voice is not weird to me. Even if i didn't have a speech impediment as I do, I wouldn't think your voice is weird !!! Bless you for being strong with going through what you did when you were three years old ! My speech changed when I was ten years old. I had the illness called Reye's Syndrome. I had tubes down my throat and that was only one thing which changed my voice - the illness itself was a main reason for that happening. That was back in 1978, and, since then, i have had a severe (at times) stutter. I was teased in school because my voice was deep in tone. It still is, but, not as much as then. The Syndrome is what has caused a few health problems for me as an adult - enlarged heart, rheumatoid arthritis, para hyperthyroidism, kidney/bladder problems, and, a few more. I'm doing good - just have to deal with those problems everyday. What bothers me most is the constant pains in my legs, hands, neck, and, back. But, I'm doing alright. I must commend you though for having gone through your problem at such a young age. Please keep your videos coming - I learn so much whenever I watch them. TYSM for sharing your techniques and knowledge with us. Love your channel 😍❣️😻 !!!

I've seen the first two methods before and didn't know about the third method. But, with how you explained them all in such detail, it was very easy to follow all your methods. I'm wanting to make myself some PJ pants and think i will use the first one you showed us - like the name (leg - in - leg) you gave it. TYSM for sharing this video with us. 😉😻❣️😍👍

I just want to say what a charming, delightful and sweet person you are. Yes, your voice is a little high pitched but it is full of vibrancy and energy that it is actually very nice to listen to. I am in Australia and I absolutely agree with what you say about the magic of technology because without it I would not have come across your very informative videos. Opening up a little about yourself was fantastic and generous of you to do so. It is so nice to hear about your background - you are Russian/American and I am Australian/Italian - so we really all are in a mixing pot. I hope you achieve your goals regarding formal training and whatever else you want to do with fabric/textiles/sewing and design. With all the energy and enthusiasm you have I am sure you will fine. I did have formal college training in sewing and drafting when I was a teenager many years ago and I have been sewing ever since although I must say I have always hated drafting - much like you dislike buttons/buttonholes but it has certainly held me in good stead. Thank you for your videos and for sharing your very special skills and personality.

Alisa, I think they could be reversible from the front to the back! I think the cute neckline would look wonderful on the front, especially with a bow at the bottom. Just my thoughts . I love your patterns!🥰🥰🥰

Buna!

Hi Alisa. I'm curious about what iron you are using and what you like about it. I am not sure if you have mentioned it before, so I am asking here.
@ThoughtfulCreativity3 күн бұрын
Hello there, Eilene! I had a cheap Black&Decker (I think) for years, until it broke some time last year, so we went to Walmart for a new iron and I saw this CHI iron that looked like it could steam really well, at least from a selection that they had, which wasn't very large. It was about $80, which felt like a hefty price for an iron, but honestly, when I saw how well it steams - my world turned upside down, he he :) I don't know if there are better irons, and there probably are, but I do like this one and hope to use it for a while. I would say that's what I like about it the most, steam and heat settings for different fibers - synthetics, wool, cotton, linen, so that way I don't have to guess. I hope this helps :)
@eileneblanc5565Күн бұрын
Yes, thank you. It helps a lot. Funny thing: I actually have a Black and Decker that I have had for a really really long time (25?+ years) it's starting to show some issues so I'm going to be shopping around.
@ThoughtfulCreativityКүн бұрын
@@eileneblanc5565 wow, 25+ years! You know... That's how it was when I was growing up, but not anymore... They don't make electronics (and not just electronics) they way they used to. Now a lot of things don't last half the time they used to, no matter how much you take care of them.
