Distance Field seems to hug the border of the fog cube and makes the whole effect weird. Like it's not hugging the objects in the scene rather avoids it and sticks to the cubes edges. I get a complety different result as you. I double checked my version and it seems something either broke on my side or changes happened to unreal engine in the meantime and your material is broken.

I had the same problem and I did change the "minus one" Node at the end of the distance field area into a "one minus" Node. Now it works fine. He may have cut this correction in the video by mistake.

Great guide thanks....I have the material working in a simple map. But in the game map Im working on it never renders. I have added Exp. Fog and enabled Volumetric fog, but it still does not render. Any ideas, is there some other render setting the project might have that would not let the material render. Also the effect look very cool on a ground map, but they do fade out based on the camera view a bit too early. Is there a distance component or setting for determining the distance fall off

I found a simple solution, transfered the Transform data of the Vcam to a Normal CineCameraActor, works like a charm.

Great Tutorial. Running into an issue, though. When packaging up the game the effect turns bright red. Any idea what is causing that?

I figured it out. Somehow I had a negative R value in the fog top color. The editor was correcting it but when packaging it was left as is.

I think it's a bug that they don't show up in the CVAR editor window but you'll find if you just type stat fps and hit enter it'll get added anyway

If you need a global solution without having to place BPs down manually, I'd look at Ultra Dynamic Sky. It has something like that built in

Is it the same performance as normal chaos destruction or this cache is much more better ?? I am looking for prebaked destruction without loosing that much fps using chaos destruction , and the only thing i found is Houdini's prebaked destruction as it plays an animation as a skeletale mesh. I really want a recommendation for what to use to make destruction for games without loosing fps.

totally depends if you need a runtime solution or something pre-baked and simulated. Both has it's pros and cons and it's hard to say without knowing exactly what the situation is. I wouldn't say cached destruction is that much better for performance but it is certainly better than having to calculate the same amount of physics and geometry at runtime.
