I learned that I have become incredibly bad at connecting to people who actually want to be close to me. This happened in the years prior, which were very traumatising for me, but in the limerent episode this inability really punched me in the face.

Limerence it so hard to break free from...akin to breaking an addiction from what I understand. Been a couple years for me and I keep working on it...lots of old childhood attachment wounds to heal. Thank you, Fenna. Oh, I see you have a cat! I'm a cat person, too. 🙂

Me personally - I don't know if any tools will ever help me stop being obsessed with my LO whom I deeply still adore agains the odds, but for you, Fena, how is that possible to wear so little make up or none and be so beautiful 😍😊

Solid advice. If [you] fall victim to this situation, you are faced with only one way to conquer this tragic circumstance. Radio silence/no contact. Then ask yourself the real tough questions as to how and why you got in this mess to begin with! Great work Fenna, you look very nice today. Racquet ball challenge at four p.m. your time? Winner buys dinner. Cheers! 😘

Yes, 1st thing in the morning & last thing at night. No one knows us like Fenna ♥️❤️ "To sleep, perchance to dream..."🙏🤞(from Hamlet, Shakespeare) who later in the passage does mention "the pangs of disprize'd love." This agony is as old as love itself folks. Must be a manufacturer's defect!🤔

I liked Fenna's advice on saying to myself ... I observe (whatever is happening). It actually helps! I'm still working in the same office with her but am avoiding her as much as possible. Just when I think it's getting easier, I have a nervous system relapse. I'm hopeful though... Considering we have never been in a relationship. She just made me feel special (which she does for everyone else). I was just in the wrong place (in my mind) when I first met her and my mind got caught in the limerence. It's a shame, because we were good friends and I spoiled it.

Don't be too harsh , " I spoiled it". Everyone wants to love and feel loved, we just seek love from the wrong person, but little did we know when we entered a limerent episode.

this is soo much what I am experiencing...it's been a year now since it's over and he hurt me badly and I decided to call it quits but I just can't move on... it's just that I had never had a connection and attraction like this and everything else seems so dull to me...it''s like if I let him go completely he really is gone then, even in my head and there is no hope anymore to ever be with him again...

Speaking from experience, I think those that are limerent for a narcissitic ex, are limerent for their mask. They pretended to be the person of your dreams, when they were lovebombing.

I'll try this maybe I'll make some affirmations with it. even knowing all that I know now after 2 years I'm still thinking about her wanting to connect. feeling like we have unfinished business wondering if a windshield reach out to me or how I will feel when I eventually run into her. there wasn't even a relationship we were just friends that saw each other once in awhile.

My very attractive & much younger female coworker gave birth to a severely autistic child and her husband reacted to this by taking work assignments that kept him away from home for months at a time. I was in tech support & spent a good deal of time in her office area and with my own wife at home in a postpartum depression of sorts my coworker & I became lovers for over 18 years. It started by me allowing her basically cry on my shoulders about her situation & soon enough she felt comfortable with me (Emotional Attachment) & I have a very athletic body, within 6 months we were humping each other before work, during lunchtime, & a quickie on the way home. It all started as an emotional affair & in my opinion it was emotional for all 18 years because she needed constant validation that she was still pretty & that's what our intimacy gave her. Today her son is in a full-time care facility & she & her husband are still together, she has tried to connect with me again, but I lost interest & I don't want a jealous husband coming at me with a shotgun. Statistically her marriage will be listed as: Happily Married.

This happened to me, after giving birth my wife went into a postpartum phase of insanity & ended up in limerence with & in bed with a coworker. Initially the thought of it was incredibly painful, I do not share my woman, it's a boundary that cannot be crossed. We tried marriage counseling but that was 2 women teaming up against me. I decided to move out & that was the best thing ever, being away from her drama felt great & I got out of the way so her limerence partner could have her full time. They broke up fairly quickly because in the bright sunlight her lover didn't look so good, what I learned is women are in abundance & you really shouldn't let any woman bring you down because they are all easily replaced. The reality is men date women in pursuit of cexx, and today's women give away free cexx like never before so relax enjoy life stay focused on your mission as a man & before you know it you will have multiple women chasing you & the best cexx you will ever have is from women who know they are in competition for you. I remained separated from my wife for 6 years on & off again for another 15 years & kept a lover on the side for me the whole time. When the kids left for college, my wife calmed down & became normal again & I rekindled our relationship, but the sad thing is because of limerence my wife lost out on 21 years of my loving, today I make love to her & for 5 days afterward she acts so happy like she is walking on clouds, she could have had that all along if not for limerence (& probably emotional instability).
