Fell in love with Lexus models when I first purchase the GS300. I've stuck with the IS300 and knowing I would not do my dream car just yet. The LC500, I know the SC430 is my next purchase. Looking to do a iridescence white, I'd have to get a double din. My IS300 still has the original deck and 200k miles it's an 2004 and amazing condition. I think the shop did modify the front end. But all in all still great. Whoever purchased this was lucky! Owning almost every year sc430 including Pebble Beach editions, you’re talking about normal wear and tear and maintenance on this car. You expect that with any car. You basically have no idea what to look for when purchasing these cars.

Miguel, I know this is the internet and it has to be entertaining but there's half of a meter difference between the length of an MX-5 NC and the SC430. That's the difference between a city car like a Volkwagen Polo and a Skoda Octavia. Otherwise, great review, I enjoyed it.

The 944 owners or service manual will show the jack points( usually marked with a dimple or raised section, common knowledge). That car is not common anymore,give the manufacturer a break. You seem to lack mechanical skill which is the real problem.

I don't think this is a huge problem, however I still agree. Since quickjack already has this information, it should be accessible on their website. Heck, over time that's probably cheaper than providing all the hardcopies.

I have never seen a jack that lists the cars it can lift. Use common sense. WAAAAAA !

I'm sure it doesn't lift a Ford Model T either, probably because it's deemed "too old" for them. Couldn't you have checked the manual that it lists your car, or even a similar type of chassis where the jacking point would be similar. Honestly just sounds more like you bought the wrong one and decided to whinge about it.

I purchased 2009 PRHT Mx5 with 46,000 3 years ago and I've put about 25,000 since then. I've had no major issues and have done routine maintenance and upgrades like adding sound proofing. The parts are reasonable and there is an abundance of aftermarket performance parts if you chose to go that way. Like most cars if you use and abuse them they don't last. Most sports cars get this treatment. With Miata's a good many original owners are older and baby and maintain them. Enjoyed the video!
