All in for the supra. Did you do a compression test of the engine before removing it? My idea of refresh is checking the main and rod bearings for excessive wear. And no abnormal amount of metal shavings in the pan. If bad, then rebuild motor. In addition: - check valve lash - do all the other engine updates that you had planned. Let it rip

I did. It had lower compression in one cylinder and it did have a little bit of a valve tick, which can be fixed by replacing the shims. Geez... I thought I had made up my mind, but you're making think again...
