He is such a pleasure to listen to and his message is sweet and compassionate. But somehow I think to the talk might be sweeter than the outcome. Are there any metrics for Maté helping people have better lives? I can imagine he helps people feel better about themselves.

Why do they own it and what do they want. Does their private interests align with the public interest? Is facebook technology or capitalism as extraction. So can question technology How to think about this today in gloablised technological capitalist world

Unlike my neighbour Gabor, I much prefer driving on the “Right” side of the road, this heavy lean to left nonsense is dangerous and not beneficial for society. Mr Mate’s obvious disdain / hostility for Christian ethos is off putting. As much as I appreciate his work on addiction and indisputable intellectual prowess I think my lack of ability to match his brilliance is comparable in terms of his ability to stand toe to toe with Jordan. His comments about Jordans thoughts on small children and the “terrible twos” is evidence that he has insubstantial fodder for criticism of Jordans views.

Looking at comments from your viewers, and what I would also love is for you to interview people like Oren Lyons, Sherri Mitchell, Robin Wall Kimerrer. You so need to talk to people whose lands you have usurped and how they lived. They had all the wisdom and are still willing to share in these troubled and hard times. Australia is far away, you are already here in the midst of profound wisdom. When are you going to listen to them?

The Bible teaches that no one is righteous. No. Not one. Why do we need a savior if we have no sin? People are messy and deceptive and wicked. Is that what the shadow holds?

There are so many misunderstanding that majority of his enemies get wrong whenever Jordan talks about this topic: 1. He is not directly endorsing people to test their capacity for violence or strive to demonstrate it as a goal. He is just saying that you cant tell if someone is truly moral or a coward just from demonstrating morality alone. But you can tell if someone is truly a good person if they have the capacity to destroy and choose moral. 2. He believe he has to say that because cowardice masked as moral is more dangerous to society than immoral because you never know when they will break from their character a d that could be devastating. 3. This idea is not his, it's Jungian's idea. He always quotes Jung for this idea. He just explains the concept as an educator.

The quicker you realise that humans are flawed and sinful the better. I was involved in 'green activism.' I look back with disgust at the self righteous attitudes and d judgements I was making about the earth, people and their choices. Quite happy to use all the benefits of things provided by modern society through mining, crop growing, medical equipment design etc but lived telling others how we should be living off grid and not mining etc! Total hypocrisy an attempt to justify myself. Oh boy the UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS TEAM IS BACK! However, this is a totally flawed philosophy of illogical dreamworld nonsense. All religions have a core that's the same. NO! FALSE INCORRECT! Jesus tells us that we are sinful and that nothing we can do can save us except for accepting his death for our sin. This man is in his own vacuum! God planned your existence but your "Original Face!" Oh boy more psycho spiritual bable! How do you like hearing instead that we are all affected and infected with "Original Sin!" Not a very popular concept is it. Bit it's true!

We have to feed back matter to the subterranean ecosystems. Hydrocarbons are the same as blood and bone marrow to the earths crust.. the earths crust is like a human skull! Tectonic plates are like the plates of a human skull, and we have been extracting oil and gas from the subterranean ecosystems for over 200 years globally, causing tsunamis and powerful earthquakes globally.. the crust has been fracturing due to humans abusing the earths own fueling systems.. we evolved from single cell organisms but were conditioned to destroy the earth from the ruling classes.. so many of our people are killing themselves because they were conditioned to go against their own souls. They are being conditioned by the tv to kill their own children for fake realities! It's only thanks to the evolution of technology that we can find the people in the world that are serving the earth.. most people are being conditioned still to destroy the earth for money, and their children are joining the military and being killed for the destruction of rhe earth.

3:36 - If there's an eternality to existence, it's an embodied eternality. It's not possible to have a disembodied being. 6:10 - we're at our best when we're integrated completely (alignment of being and body) 7:36 - Logos: the principle of the incarnation, symbolism that the spirit has to fully inhabit the body 8:33 - being fully incarnate (spirit and body) means embracing the horrors of the world (voluntarily) 9:05 - part of spiritual development is recognising Satanic tendencies that characterise you, and wrestle and integrate with them 9:27 - people who haven't integrated their Shadow are naïve, and get taken advantage of. 9:49 - those who have integrated their Shadow are dangerous radiating "potential for havoc", somewhat of an aura 10:24 - recognising yourself as the locus of evil gives you more respect for yourself, allows you to discipline your children better 14:50 - Piaget: becoming civilised involves constant integration with the Id 15:55 - you need an aim, putting the integrated self to work on bringing things together 20:57 - we need a heroic story of our own, otherwise we'll pursue pleasure or engage with trivial things which aren't useful. The truth is, suffering makes life not trivial 22:58 - there's an integral relationship between consciousness and being, overlooked by the materialists 26:18 - it isn't self-evident that the default position is heroism in the face of advancing evil. It's highly probable you'll be on the side of the weak who transform into oppressors. You should take this seriously. Carl Jung believed humans are too powerful to be naïve. 27:06 - if you play with fire, you better be a master of fire 27:32 - prerequisites for true knowledge and wisdom: existential terror; becoming aware of what you're capable of in the most negative way will make you serious (you won’t take yourself seriously until you know what that means) 29:05 - there's something attractive about predatory power, you could argue that someone who's pathetically weak wants predatory power but lacks the ability (Nietzschean criticism of standard morality) 30:00 - there's something better than predatory tyranny, e.g. Christ denying Satan; make things better in a forthright, noble, courageous, eyes-wide open, articulate, embodied manner. You never know what will happen if you do this Personal main points: Integrate your shadow, wrestle with your Satanic tendencies, overcome naivety Being aware of the most negative you're capable of, it will make you take things seriously Seek what's better than predatory power, the Christ example of living

I like how we sublimate dopamine-seeking behaviors that are done at the expense of our society's health. Does anyone remember the AIDS pandemic? I think that gives a pretty good indication of where our society is right now. Shame on them.

I like how she admits that it only works for her because she actively suppresses her gut reactions and feelings- but because she uses spiritual tools to do this - it's ok. Also, if she really had evaluated this from an evolutionary perspective, she would not be on this show advocating for this practice. Lastly, should we be advocating for the weaponization of our sexuality in some sort of culture war? Shouldn't we have more objective criteria independent of political or cultural standards?

Mankind does not have any ability to solve the worlds problems through dependency on their intelligence and personal oppinions. We are created beings who are lost with a personal relationship the Holy Spirit, who is promised through a perdonal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way the truth and life , one can come to the Father accept through him.

As Daniel said change you feed change your algorithm . Spread this and other info. Focus on the poison only feeds it and gives it power. Some like to cause fear - some love to hurt others. Some depend on those watching the negativity to sustain their channels. Research shows how this negativity depresses and harms the psyche. If you can quit the addition all at once - do it in pieces.

I've never heard of Integral theory until today, but as someone who has spent 25 years in the yoga world, i now tell anyone who will listen, that if they come across someone who claims to be enlightened or claims to have answers, to get as far away from that pserson as possible. Thankfully, I was never too gullible to fall for any yogic charlatan, but i watched plenty of seekers get duped. I look forward to listening to more from Jamie...a good find!

What's interesting is I think that he is expressing how victimised he feels. I agree with him that masculinity is not toxic or bad, but I think Jordan Peterson has narcissism and When an narcissist is criticised, it is the worst thing in the world for them. This mindset he is bringing to his idea of how the world is. Understand this and you will understand how he can be entirely logical but also simultaneously wrong. Lastly, if you feel like someone is stopping you from being masculine, then either you're weak or your idea of masculine is really just antisocial. I am alpha because I don't need to pretend to myself that others are in control. If a woman earns more than me than I am pleased for her because no one has the key to myself worth. For Jordan, lots of people have the key.

Ancient Roots: The ideas associated with idealism can be traced back to ancient philosophers such as Plato, who posited that the realm of forms (abstract ideals) is more real than the physical world. His theory of forms suggests that non-material ideas shape our understanding of reality. Modern Idealism: In the 18th and 19th centuries, philosophers like George Berkeley advanced idealism, arguing that reality is fundamentally mental and that material objects only exist as perceptions in the mind. Berkeley famously stated, "To be is to be perceived." German Idealism: Later, philosophers such as Immanuel Kant and G.W.F. Hegel further developed idealist thought, emphasizing the role of consciousness and ideas in shaping our understanding of reality.

We can see this winning/gaining mentality everywhere, in subtle and big dynamics. It is bringing forth externalities that are often for the account of unknown others. I have an aversion to it, so I do not want to play that game, so I actively do not play the winning/gaining game. It often comes with a sense of loosing, which means I am actually still being in the same game I guess. I find it really hard.

He is onto something. I have not seen a stream of consciousness rival his. The endeavor of getting to where we are going is quite beautiful to watch. Is consciousness the driving force powering this vehicle, or is it a ticket we recieved for this movie? I suppose if every other person in the world would call a ball out when they know it was in, in order to win a match. Whom amongst us is still willing to call it in? Perhaps Ned Stark was not Naive, perhaps his writers or audience are naive. The infinite game could come down to “Know Thyself”. As we move towards that we let the flower of life unfurl not by our predetermined idea of what awaits, but by a unified understanding of the sanctity of the individual journey towards itself. The best way I’ve seen the game played, is to listen to others and to observe thoughts. Sat nam.
