Progesterone is meant to be taken at night. It's main function is to let you sleep lol

See that this was 4 years ago… somethings don't change…. Mine each time ache like a dull pain… bruising and swelling the whole 5-7 days. Did not want to exercise. Did not have the ice pack option… will purchase for my next visit. Thank you so much for sharing.

I’ve only had one round of pellet injections. I also have low thyroid. I’m taking biote supplements abs well. So far I’ve spent $750.00 and I don’t feel any different. Maybe the next injection will make a difference. I’ll keep on trying but can’t afford it much longer.

For many women, bioidentical progesterone (NOT progestin) is all they need, says my dr. However, it has a side effect adjustment period that can be problematic for some women. Just stick with it, it will get better- I sailed thru premenopause & menopause w/progesterone only-

I do HRT but was bleeding bc of testosterone so Dr asked me to take 300 mg of progesterone to stop bleeding but yes it makes tired 24/7 lack of motivation brain fog sane symptoms as you described it. So today I went for my pellet maintenance Dr said only doing testosterone this time bc it my estrogen is pretty high so it’s the reason I’m bleeding & my testosterone is pretty low according to my lab results. He told me me to continue to take progesterone but my bleeding is going to stop soon as it will level up. I’m keeping my fingers cruised as I want to feel me again. Exercise & my active life style! BTW- Dr I saw today is my new Dr, as of today, other Dr didn’t seem to know what he was doing. I liked this new one as he seems pretty knowledgeable on the field of HRT & Biote 😊

Post-menopausal here and I’ve been on (life changing) pellets, going on three years. I am also taking progesterone, 200 MG capsules. which I take at bedtime. The progesterone doubles a great sleep aid. Additionally I take DIM. The only negative that I’ve encountered with the pellets would be, some hair loss on my head, and hair growth on my face. The trade-off is worth it. ☺️

I totally relate to what you are saying! You articulated brilliantly how I feel before and after my period. You have motivated me to go to the doctors and see what is going on with my hormones. I just hope they do a requested hormone level blood test in England.

Having same fatigue issues at the 8-9 week mark. I felt pretty solid, good noticeable changes 1st 6 weeks minus weight gain. .My testosterone level at the 6 week mark was above highest end of spectrum but now @ week 9 I am having exact same problems you speak of (can't get anything done) I do tolerate the progesterone well though (I had this done pre-covid and then stopped due to covid). Just curious what your testosterone level at re-check was. I am also taking thyroid meds as part of the program. my T4 actually dropped, so doctor doubled my dose, perhaps that is reason for my fatigue. Grrrr. Pellets are still an improvement in my mood and decreased my depression. a

I see this is 3 years old, but maybe someone can find this useful. Only take Prometrium (progesterone) at night. I would babe so tired too! Progesterone is the precursor of melatonin, and you know that makes you sleepy! Try just using half dose. It's NOT all in your head! I used to poke a hole in my capsule and squeeze a little on my wrist. That helped at the time. I am over that now, as I can swallow the whole pill and sleep better.

fructose, fruits cause higher triglycerids, and even fatty liver. but triglyc is more dangerous than ldl, too long too high one might suffer bad veins and stroke. my doc told me, cut off all fruits, make it all veggies instead. if apple then only the very sour ones. stopped all fruits and juices(!), one month later trigyc perfect. hell of a ride, shall see what the liver does in three months, avocado is hopefully helping it. gluten is not automatically carbo. its mostly in white flour products, bread, noodles, a.s.o. but we do need a bit carbohyd. for the better production of serotonin, low sero means bad or no sleep, because melatonin needs serotonin to be even built... so my understanding of mass talks with doc and research. oh lord, its all just such a big crazy chain of all sorts of things, hope all will get better for anyone wish you all the best for 2023 ❤️thanks for sharing, it does help to compare and learn

Did you start DIM? Also what about your thyroid? Thyroid issues can cause hair loss. Testosterone causes hair growth in women. Progesterone really helped me. But I was depressed before taking progesterone and suffered from severe insomnia so progesterone helped me. Sorry if made you feel that way. I got on an IUD because I’m going through perimenopause and my cycles are lasting up to 3 weeks. I’m curious if you had night sweats or cold spells? I’m not having those yet.

Your supposed to take progesterone when you go to sleep. They make you sleep better. It’s called natural or nature’s sleep medicine. I take 200-400mg every night. Not sure why you would only take it for 12 days. You need to take DIM and K2-D3 as well. 😊

No, you don't always need a specialist to get this kind of treatment. My gynecologist is a regular gynecologist and she was able to send me for a comprehensive hormone panel and once we realized my testosterone was incredibly low she gave me the pellets right away in the office. I didn't have to go anywhere or see any specialist. Depends on your doctor....

Now it’s organised clutter. The “ does it spark joy “ concept is seriously flawed. Let’s face it, most things that we buy spark joy, but that doesn’t mean we should keep them. A more realistic approach to decluttering is “ do I need it” & “do I use it”.

This was my second time of having the pellets inserted, the first 3 months I did great, the second time, I’ve have hot flashes, night sweats, very bad mood swings, the 2 months after the second pellet injection, I noticed the pellets had moved down to my panty line from where the pellets had been injected. There are two red raised areas where the pellets are, they itch and burn. When I went to the clinic where they were injected, they told me not to worry about it! I’m very worried, I can’t find any info as to whether this has happened to others . It’s another month before the 3 months are up. I don’t think they are even releasing any testosterone, I think they are not being honest with me. What should I do?

What dose was your first testosterone pellet ?
@LupieHousewife
@LupieHousewife Жыл бұрын
@katieontheflipside I think a 100 pellet was too low considering your testosterone was at 0. Not sure if he charged you the usual $350 to $375 range but you didn't get the full benefits or your money's worth. My levels were borderline low and my gyn just gave me two pellets yesterday totaling 185 dose. Its only day 5 and I haven't started feeling results yet. Im curious though, you never mentioned libido and sex drive. I'm not sure if that's cause you're still young, or due to privacy reasons but your testosterone was at zero which equals zero sex drive. As a 50 year old, I guess that was one of my concerns but none of your videos even slightly touch on the subject. I hope my dose helps with sleep and drive and weight loss. I just think your dose was too low and adding progesterone didn't help. Any update would be really helpful whether you're still on it or not. Especially about the weight loss and if your hormones are now balanced in general. Thanks Katie.
