The best of the bunch: Surface laptop 7 15-inch, Dell latitude 7455, and Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x. The SSDs can be upgraded on all these models, so you can buy the lowest SSD storage for each laptop. Good port selection on all of them. The worst of the bunch: HP Omnibook, Dell XPS 13 9345, and Samsung Galaxy book 4x. Either bad ports, bad specs, or bad TDP that hinders performance.

M4 chip is just kind of overkill on limited iPad OS that doesn't offer any significant benefit over full fledged MacOS. iPad Air seems reasonable.

After considering all the specs for some days I would go for Acer Vivobook S15. It has 120Hz, a relatively good port selection, I can connect an external monitor without port replicator. It has no touch, but I found myself never using that anyways. About battery life I read that it is a bit lower than the Lenovo, but maybe it is a driver thing. As right now (per what I have read) the igpu bottlenecks the snapdragon, it is mostly not important which tier you choose, all are mostly slowed down by the graaphics. The chip can address 64GB RAM, but 64GB is not available yet. So I wait for the next gen with stronger graphics (or dedicated graphics) and 64GB RAM, as right now my notbook is just fine for what i am currently doing.

I have a small flat screen, I had it hooked up to an Xbox 360 but I've moved the Xbox to a bigger TV. It doesn't have cable hooked up because when the cable switched over to digital, the cable company was very stingy with the converter boxes and didn't give us enough for all our TVs, and several of the boxes they did give us have failed and been returned. So that got me thinking, I want a gaming PC, and I'll need a monitor for that, and that TV isn't being used, anyway that's the thought process that got me here. I'm not a big tech guy so thanks for the video, I'll check out the other video as well, before making a decision.

I never knew there was a fan in the AW3225QF because it’s inaudible and I have very sensitive ears. More importantly though there is no coil whine which is far more of an irritating dealbreaker for me.

The conclusions here are all skewed for everyone in Europe, especially UK 1)Dell AW is about £910 and available 2) Asus out of stock in UK and only available from 1 place and £1400 delivered - plus you play roulette with Asus Warranty cover (see Gamer Nexus for the exposé on their scam warranty service) 3) MSI out of stock too and about £1350ish We're talking £490 difference from Dell (cheapest) to Asus (most expensive) so the question that should be asked is, is the asus or MSI worth £400+ more? I'm not sure it is for minimal performance differences..

Lenovo is the most interesting on the list if they can cripple windows. They do a good job of overriding Microsoft's predatory software. Spyware with a glossy interface.

Sorry but that review misses one of the most important part. They are made for Copilot+ so the target audience are developers which means local LLMs are the selling points. If you wanna use and train them the more RAM the better. So every option under 32GB Ram shouldnt be considered at all. If you want a consumer laptop there is no argument currently to use a Snapdragon

Imo the release is kinda a mess Of the 12 devices, there's only 3 devices here i'd rec which are the Acer Swift 14 AI & Vivobook S15 for the avg normies and the Surface Laptop 7 for the best snapdragon experience. I wouldnt even bother w/ everything else released in the early gen. So much potential wasted by the hardware manufactures imo. Snapdragon x release deserved better. SUMMARY Acer Swift 14 AI: Absolutely ideally average in that it does everything just fine including price & specs, but nothing exciting, still an easy recommend Asus: Vivobook S15 avg build quality, excellent IO, Good display terrible trackpad layout, avg performance specs, another solid machine for normies Dell: XPS 13 is the most disappointing of the new releases just terrible design overall and overpriced, Dell is not going to sell any of these.... Clearly just trying to burn the XPS line & heritage.... Inspiron & Lattiudes are bascially for normies but underspecced and below avg build quality, IO is fine, but nothing the other products cant do better... Samsung: Let us down as usual w/ their Book 4 Edge making a device thats massive yet underspecced, built good upon initial impression until you actually push down on it and see it bend, nothing outstanding, seems to already be buggy according to early reviews. Id be interested in if LG competition makes one tbh HP: Omni/Elite book seems promising but idk why they gave it the lowest end Elite chips, ok battery size, and has the worst screen of all of the releases. Kinda overpriced for what they are Lenovo: Yoga Slim 7X Nearly perfect everything, good display but only 90hz , but absolutely garbanzo trash IO layout... Thinkpad T14S Gen 6 is overall the better machine but underspecced, and wildly overpriced.... Microsoft: Surface Pro is Only tablet here but terrible IO and somehow trash battery... idk what Microsoft is thinking.... Surface Laptop 7, probably the best laptop out here minor price premium but still good pricing esp for build quality, cab be specced out seemingly high-ish w/ good display & fair IO.

I use the tandem Mac mini - Tv monitor combination for the last 20 years and I can not do otherwise. Due to the downside of entertainment industry I prefer to choose what I watch and almost nothing from tv programs nowadays. Indeed I use lots of money to upgrade constantly the tv and the Mac. I have issues with Mac mini pro M2 paired with a Samsung 85inch-8k tv 2023. I get nice 4K but never at 120hz. Than I get 8k with 60hz but the screen get impossibility to read because of extra small size. Than I get something’s like few seconds black screen. Change to usb C to hdmi cable, no more black screen but it stopped to appear 8k resolution on display and the colors get a bit cold and washed. Any idea ? Thank you …
