I struggled with plantar fasciitis until trying these shoes. I was spending hundreds of dollars monthly with no relief. After buying my first pair of Hike footwear I will not buy anything else. After a month with these shoes I have forgotten what plantar fasciitis feels like!!!

How the Motus Strength compare to the Primus lite III regarding the size, please?

I like this sort of shoe. It works best for me. Side point, about 20 to 30 percent of European populations have the second to as long as or longer than the first. It is a normal variation, sometimes called a Greek foot. In Asian and African populations, it is 10 to 20 percent. Some of us even have a very long middle toe, and it causes a lot of problems in a typical toe box. Still, the wide toe box fits better on a Greek foot than the standard shoe.

Shout out injinji toe socks! Honestly I cant that you enough for sharing. My feet have been jacked since birth. Mom always stuffing me into not only misaligning shoes but cheap misaligning shoes. Smh feet really looked like velocirator claws. That was until about 3 years ago when I purchased my Vibram fivefinger toe shoes, also at the same time dicovered injinji toe socks. These products changed my life. Im a advocate for logic and having 10 individual slots for my 10 individual toes for me was a no brainer. Of course I got stared at but im not one that really cares about the outside noise in the first place. All in all my feet are realigning to the way that they should have been all my life, thank God! Ever since the beginning of my journey ive been researching alot of barefoot shoes and Vivo is one that intrigues me alot. I have heard about the cautions of running in barefoot shoes and was going to just by a nike or addidas until you presented these Hydra ESCs to me. Now im sure of what my next running shoe is going to be, thanks you. God bless.

lol, Ill give you one mistake you totally did not do. I am almost confident you did not put on your first pir of barefoot shoes which were like extra extra barefoot because you like to go all in and then go do parkour and high jumps in them for a whole day with friends =) and then spent the next 3 days with your ankles and knees inflamated to double it's size and a 40degree fever. Still get shivers down my back by just thinking about that😅

Thank you for video. All of those shoes looks good. But have your tried Hike Footwear barefoot shoes? I transitioned summer of -21 after chemo ruined my proprioception and I started falling about and breaking bones. I started out hard, got a stress fracture, healed, and stubbornly went at it again. One and a half year later on my hike barefoot shoes. I have my body back. At 56, no back problems, no neck problems, great balance, big, broad, strong feet. I couldn´t recommend barefoot shoes enough.

I’m 71. I bought my first pair of barefoot shoes a couple of months ago from HIke Footwear. I love them. I have flat feet and am getting root nerve blocks in my lower spine every 4 months. I still had a problem with daily pain in my left leg. These shoes have resolved that. I can go all day with no pain.

Ive been using barefoot shoes since 2018. I started with the vibram toe shoes during my strength training or gym workouts. I began to appreciate them when i got my first vivo shoes for outdoor use. It was a slow burn to get into the barefoot movement and i will never go back to regular shoes. I have to wear regular shoes during work for safety reasons but other than that i wear zero drop shoes all the time. I have no more foot pain, no issues and strong feet.

Shoes always hurt my feet. When I was a toddler, my mom had to bribe me to put shoes on in the shoe store. I rip shoes off as soon as I can! Even socks are hard to keep on. I found that shoes were causing my foot issues and after about 6 weeks of using barefoot shoes, my foot and ankle pain stopped. I realize that I'm an exception because I walk around my property in bare feet, work from home barefoot, etc., and only wear shoes to drive, hike, and go shopping. But my arches are coming back and my bunion is going away. Unfortunately, now that the polar vortex is here, I have to wear insulated shoes with thick soles and guess what? My foot and ankle pain returned! I wish they made barefoot winter shoes that could keep me warm at five degrees Fahrenheit. Let me know if you find one!

I'm no stranger to barefoot shoes. I have been wearing them for several years, have tried most of the brands out there, and will never go back to regular shoes. I have to say, I have never been more blown away than I was when I tried on my first pair from Hike footwear. Instant love! They look great, they feel great, the offer great features like stretchy, no-tie laces and unbeatable grippy sole! They are comfortable with or without toe-spacers . . . in short, they are my new favorite shoes. They also have a removable insole (for those still transitioning) which can be replaced with your favorite insoles for a custom feel. Try them! Once you feel the increased balance, sensation and control, you will never want to go back to your old 'foot coffins'.

Hi, would you recommend the Primus trail or lite version if I’m going to be using for a mix of road running, runs in the forest, forest walks, walking to work on concrete and also for the occasional hikes? Struggling to choose as each one seems better suited depending on the activity but I only want to buy 1 shoe

Well, good job to Google, your video showed up on my android feed. I'm an avid barefoot shoe user. Got my VFFs like 15 years ago? Gosh that was like another life. But never pulled the trigger on a high end real leather until today. Going to subscribe to your channel as well. Might have heard of your channel before, but you're right that I've never heard of this family business... Algorithm gods worked their magic

I like the green leather boots they offer. I see that they offer different sole thickness, but I don't think that is 100% true. It looks like they have a 4mm cherry sole, regardless, and if you want 6, 8 or 10mm it is actually an increase in the midsole. I think I might have to send an email and check things out. 8-10mm of sole would be great for wear on the city pavement. But I might still check out a pair of blue oxfords. Thanks for bringing these to my attention. I love my Jim Greens but wish they had a more anatomical toe box. These might be the next best thing!

The width is essential. I have a pair of SoftStar Primal Sawyers, and these seem similar to those. People don't notice the toe width/shape too often. -OR- they really know me and how uncompromising I am about healthier footwear - in which case they're just glad I bought something that looks more like a casual shoe and less like something a clown would wear.

I have the same point of view, but sometimes i make an exception buying something natural and timeproof instead of a plastic made one. But it's always a tough choice 😢
@grachug817719 күн бұрын
I was struggling with the choice, but leather is much better for the environment in the longer run. The fake leather is very prone to tearing, and it's impossible to fix it properly. Leather on the other hand is fully natural material with amazing longevity, possibility to fix it and it will eventually decompose 10 times faster than plastic shoes (and will not generate micro plastic)

Buy more so they become less expensive! That’s true. When I started wearing them in 2015, Merrell, Xero, and Vivo were the only players (and Bedrock who I got my sandals from cause I wanted to be able to chase after my toddler while wearing sandals) and Xero was only available on their website and Vivo had to be imported from theirs. Merrell was on Amazon though. So that’s what I went with. Eventually, I tried Vivo’s (I still really don’t like the size inconsistency and some of them have durability issues), and Xero’s still have a thicker sole than I prefer. Now however, if I want to convert someone to the barefoot cult, I gift them a $40 pair of off-branded shoes from Amazon. They don’t last nearly as long, but when they do fall apart the convert can and usually does upgrade.
