I love AK they're my favorite paints I got the Basic set, and the Keigo Murakami personal Mixes (For anime figures). They have one major weakness though. If you buy their small sets a lot of the paints are repeated, and they often include black and white on them. If they made their sets have unique colors it would be a lot easier to collect them. As it is, you're better off with one maybe two sets, and some singles, or just go balls deep and buy the big box sets.

Is it possible to obtain the same finish (especially on the backpack) using paint brushes instead of a an airbrush/spray? Also, what paints did you use for the reds? Thanks.

As someone who collects deathscythe and deathscythe inspired mobile suits I can confirm this model is a great build but does have it floors The fitment in the chest and head unit is terrible where as I had zero issue with the MG rosette glory for losers deathscythe

I figured a comment on this channel might be easier to see than the Gundam Channel. I follow a Chi Manhua story that is created with Mechas similar to Gundam and Gundam Mechas called "Legend of Star General." I recently found out that the story is based on the model kits and that the story was meant to help the Author sell more toys/kits. I figured that since you are into these Gundam Model Kits, that maybe the "Legend of Star General," Kits would be something interesting for you to look into, especially since you are someone who cares about good quality stories and works. I figured someone like you could not only enjoy these model kits, but also help spread the word about them and the story. Besides that, The Legend of Star General story is actually one of my current favorite stories/Manhua/etc... IT'S SO DAMN GOOD! I highly recommend you read it too. You can find the story uploaded here by a channel called "Webdex," but I also read on "manhuaplus (org)." I figured if you made a video about it, or commented on it in a video or something, that it would also allow others to start reading a good story. Instead of the trash we get from Western Stories/shows, we could actually be sharing good quality stories for others/us to read. I really hope you find interest in this story, it's so incredible. Every week I am so excited for the release of the newest chapter... They just had a Celebration Banquet for the MC, and it was so damn good... Top Tier story to me. I hope you will think so too!

So I don’t know a whole lot about these models, however, from the outside looking in, I see no point in this inner metal frame. When I hear the word “Metal” in the wording for Sazabi, I assumed the whole model or a lot of it would be metal, even the outer parts. I understand that you can pose the figure better, but the exterior looks “Plasticy” and “Fake”. Perhaps with a custom paint job it would look better, but for $3000 US, see ya later, what a waste of money.

Bandai is actually a very big company with many divisons. Their Gundam division probably makes the most money but they definitely have problems within the company, it maybe leadership issues or a change in sales philosophy. Gundam as a brand has a lot of mismatched and inconsistent in terms of quality, releases. Instead of updating the quality of some of their ancient kits (which they still produce), they push out a lot of brand new kits that very few are worth looking at. If anything, Bandai (Gundam division) has been suffering from an identity crisis for many years (easily a decade). They are caught between making action figure kits or advanced level modelling kits. However, they pretty much got their entry level kit philosophy nailed on. Personally, I wouldn't mind the current quality of RG kits being upscaled to 1/100 and that being the new MG line. Lastly, for the love of god, update all the really old Zeon kits to modern standards. Endless waves of nothing but Earth Federation Gundam MS bores the fans to death and prevents the fanbase from growing.

I do more 3D printing and painting those 3D prints than gunpla these days. The prints turned out nice.

There's a resin KZbinr that stated if you remove the supports before you cure the 3D resin model you're doing. We're actually reduce the nub marks you make or need to fight to get it off.

I love information like this since I want to get into more hobbies like this. I'll definitely be adding this to my list of things to get with the printer! Thank you for the review and info!

wanna get into resin printing and painting, the resin section might take a bit. need to clear out my garage for it going to start with painting with minis, or fdm prints. hopefully doing r34 commissions for the last 5 years have taught me something.

Not in the market for either resin or a printer (yet), too little room, too much going on hobby-wise.

Ive been resin printing for a few years now and have tried nearly every resin on the market. So far I found the Elegoo ABS like 2.0 to he the best for most applications. Its not brittle and dosen't shatter if you drop it on the floor. Its the closest to real ABS so far. Dont get the 3.0 tho. They backtracked and its more brittle than the 2.0
