No, you do not need that much support, you want a little bit of give in most cases. I get how this could be used for things that are NOT allowed or supposed to move or stretch! Nice upload just disagree with the conclusion:)

I love that you always say both the imperial and metric sides together. It helps cement the correlation between both as they’re often both used x

hi, i am trying to make a shirt for my boyfriend, who’s only worn shirts with the shoulders hanging off by several inches. it’s a pretty scary task because he is not nearby for me to compare and the adjustment is rather big 😁 Do you think this method is still suitable when cutting the shoulder seam by almost half ? But more importantly, how should i go about it when i want to raise the shoulder decline ? can i just bring the cut piece upwards or is it something more complicated ? Thanks so much for this video ♥️

I saw a video where you can use a twin needle for decorative stitches, of which I had no idea you could do this. Now I’m all excited about doing this.❤

The patterns have more than one size to each of them. If I want to sew "two different sizes" of a certain pattern how do I cut out the sizes without ruining the pattern? I do get confused with all the different markings on the pattern with several different sizes being on each pattern.

Likewise. 1st sewing machine, at age 73, and looking forward to using it effectively and productively. I really like the way that Anika presents the information, so precisely, clearly and comprehensively. Like you, #hershahome4161, I am also keen to follow Anika for the rest of the tutorials. {Edit for spelling - hope that I have Anika's name spelt correctly}

Thank you for this clearly explained tutorial. You are indeed the best zipper teacher.😅 I managed to sew my zipper beautifully just by following your clip and tips!! You do repeat steps and warn us of pitfalls, and all that help us beginners.

Hello, Since English is not my first language, I watched the video, but it seems that it did not explain this. I have a question: When cutting the fabric, should I cut the upper layer of paper and the fabric together, or should I cut all three layers (both layers of paper and the fabric in the middle) together? Also, I was taught that fabric scissors should not be used to cut other materials to keep them sharp. Will cutting both paper and fabric at the same time damage my fabric scissors? Thank you very much for your help and for sharing your expertise. I really appreciate it!💖
