I am still new to knit, and have always done long tail cast on. What is the difference with the cast on that you do in this vid and a long tail? Is it stretchy? or does it make the bottom edge look cleaner?

omg I am you in another universe 😮Every single thought is what I am going through these days! - not knowing what to do when my reach goes up - stressing when it doesn't lol - not posting stuff because I don't have \ don't want to write a pattern - pressure to design more patterns - want to start knitting but Idk how to write knitting patterns and feel like I have to - comparing - not trying out other patterns I like bc "I should be working on my own instead" 🫠🫠

I've seen those snap-top project bags elsewhere, and they're really great for colorwork, as you can feed 1 strand of yarn between each pair of snaps. I make a lot of granny-square afghans, and often multi-strand thin yarns so I can use a larger crochet hook, so I should get one of those snap-top project bags, too.
