Leica M series camera has some external sensors on the body to meter the scene and guess EXIF instead of using the actual light fell on the sensor. That's why you had different metering at different orientations. There are no contact points between the lens and body so that's how they guess the aperture value of the lens. And it is wrong all the time.

I bought the Tamron 28-75 for my FX3 and noticed the blur in between zooms but other than that, I'm very happy with how lightweight it is, the quality and the price which was probably the biggest factor in getting it, seems to be the right choice for me to get this lens next as I seek an affordable telephoto with good quality

I choose the rode micro because it's more practical compare to this two china brand that you have.... you see, the rode micro does not include feature like the Holly land and Dji have because technically when you film a video, you will end up editing to an editing software before you publish your video to your platform and in your editing software you an remove those noise in the background and you can adjust also the sound quality you want to have on your video.

nice video and congrats on the time spent doing it, looking at the Leica preset we can see colour warmth on the house/tree is still quite a lot different which you mention too, i believe for all photographers around, spending time improving on a camera you own will be more rewarding that trying imitating/copying, which we all somehow do but i guess you get the point of where to put your energy/talent and uniqueness into as an artist. liked watching the video, all the best!

Started with the Mini 2 as a newbie several years ago. Got the Mini 4 Pro last year after selling the Mini 2. Soon after, a colleague was selling a Mavic 3 Classic...which piqued my interest. I started watching you guys on KZbin and did my research comparisons. I ended up getting a brand new Air 3S thanks to videos like yours!

Sony doesn't have the patent to record internal RAW. That patent is jointly held by RED (now also Nikon) and Canon. ARRI had some clever work-around to record internal raw not directly violating the patent. I doubt Sony can do anything with RAW recording unless they can win a lawsuit and break it. Sony recording limits (8K60fps and 6K60fps) is mostly held back by their Bionz XR processor now. It most likely doesn't have HDMI 2.1 interface that can output 8K signals to the external recorder and doesn't record higher bitrate than 520 Mbps. The 8K30fps and 4K120fps are essentially the same bitrate if you do the conversion. Similar thing applies for faster CFExpress 4.0 standar. That standard uses PCIe Gen 4 interface and requires actual hardware change. The sensor on the A1 series is the same as the Venice 2 8K. That sensor can do 8.6K open gate at 30 fps or DCI 8K and 8K at 60 FPS on Venice 2 8K, and can record higher frame rate at 8k based on the CMOS specsheet. The sensor isn't the problem in A1 series. I don't think Sony will even update that sensor in the next gen A1. They just need to put a new imaging processor and all of the big complains will be solved.

I had a Leica M240 and, later on, an M10 and loved to shoot with both of them. But the rangefinder mechanism was not that reliable. I had to send both cameras in for repair and I realized that the return time was up to eight (!) weeks, which is - in my view - totally unacceptable for a camera in that price range. That is never mentioned in all those KZbin praises of the Leica cameras.

You'll never know how greatful i am for this video! Coming from Canon this helped me so much.🙂
