I bought the 2022 M3P in the previous shade of red. I tinted the windows, replaced the badging with matte carbon fiber and covered the whole car with a Matte PPF. This upgraded red looks more like the Mazda red and has upgraded everything including motors, wheel set-up and suspension. I absolutely love mine and the low center of gravity. I can only imagine how much better your car is. There is no better value for performance on the market. Not even close.

I really dislike these wheels and wish there was another option when ordering. Any plastic on wheels looks cheap in my opinion.

Considering I'm looking for a performance vehicle that I wanna keep for many years. I have 2 choice, EV or ICE. The problem is, I invest 54k usd on this Tesla. Make some mods because I wanna save weight and I do want ceramic brakes. So I invest about 80-90k in total. Now I consider a slightly used 2018-2019 911 4S PDK with ceramic brakes, that car is no slouch, 1/4 mile 11.5 @ 122 (same trap speed than the model 3, so slower under 100 mph but faster above 130 mph, I call it a tie). That car is about 80-90k used, but it's porsche certified so I should be fine for the next years. But what will happen in 10 years? Well the tesla is likely to be valued maybe 15-18k usd with the battery level at maybe 75-80% if I still live in a mild weather scenario. The porsche is likely to still be above 45k usd, just look for the price of a 2008 997 4s with ceramic brakes. Will I spend about 30k of maintainance, gasoline and porsche premium? Honestly, I don't think so.

Yeah the times are really irrelevant as far as on the street performance. The trap speed tells it all. A 123mph trap speed in the quarter supports a 600hp+ car. For reference, the MS LR traps anywhere from high 127mph to 130mph in the quarter and its rated at 670hp.

Thank you for doing this test. I have a 2019 Tesla Model 3 with only 55k miles. 75% - 0% gets me 138 miles / 29kWH / 212 Wh/mi on 19s with spacers. Enough for city driving, horrible at road trips. Been looking to upgrade my Model 3 and get a Performance. Also nice Cobra, I myself have a 2001 Ford Lightning haha! Cheers.

My issue here in Minnesota is temps below zero, -10, -20 F. Range would be reduced to even be cut in half.

Premium on Maui is $5.50 just down the street from me. On my TOU program, I'm paying 50 cents a Kwh (don't know where you came up with 39 cents, maybe on Oahu) and I came out with ~ 40 mpg equivalent. But, to drive my 2024 Model 3 performance with a really heavy foot, leave no emissions and have the torque of a monster, I'll take it.
