Thank you... in regards the flash holder the S model was designed before round head flashes... they now (ben a few years actually) also have an S2 model specifically designed for round heads and basically the same price as the original . there is a small clip on the bottom you remove to give the full round... the kit dos look very handy

Us 12 seconds the maximum amount of time theV860ii display light can be kept on? I have not been able to find a way to increase display light tome.

The fact the 300s only go down to 1/32 is ridiculous unless someone has a true warehouse size studio. At 1/32 even with 1 or 2 of these, it is simply too much power at 300w. Like would it have killed Godox even at this price to simply add more circuitry to allow going down to half that????? Thanks for your review. Like others - the 200s would be more than enough for most buying at this price point.

Excellent. This video answers all of my questions. The pros and cons prevented me from returning the flash. After weighing the reasons I did not like this flash, it made me decide that it is the best choice to my older model and the other new models I reviewed. So I’m keeping it to continue shooting and deciding if my results are worth sticking with Godox V1. For now the pros outweigh the cons.

I had experiences where the flash was set up as an on-camera flash but the camera failed to recognize it and no flashes went off. Do you know what kind of settings need to be changed if the camera doesn't auto-detect OCF?

Did you find it difficult to screw on your tripod head? Mine will NOT fit on this thing. It kind of does, but it can pop right off with very minimal effort. I have two tripods, and both do this with this product and this product alone. No issues with anything else I've used them on.

12:10 only works when the v860ii is NOT in the hot shoe. Otherwise, this will not work in Master Mode and fire the other Godox flashes in the room. If you take it out of the hot shoe and use a transmitter, it will work. The Master mode is not available when the camera is in the hot shoe.

This tutorial moves too fast. I simply want to put the flash on my camera and take flash photos with it or use a diffuser with it and that's it. I have it set to TTL and sometimes it won't fire. It's really frustrating to be ready to capture a shot and the previous shot works and then the next 2 or 3 or 10 the unit doesn't flash. The user manual makes no sense and so far all the videos just move right past camera mounting-which is the most basic use-and I'm lost. So frustrating.

Loved this video. Very informative and easy to comprehend. Here's my issue. I also have mono-light strobes and I'm spoiled on the modeling light feature. Would you have any good ideas about putting a modeling light with this setup when an individual needs to have a good idea as to what the outcome and direction of the light looks like before hand. It's not a major problem just an annoying one. The only thing I came up with was a lume Cube LED sharing the space inside the clamping area of the speedlite. Any thoughts?

I love my AD200pro's, but I purchased the new Nikon z8 (realize you shoot Sony, but just curious if you have heard anything... and I get serious horizontal banding with I shoot in HSS. ALL firmware is Current and Up -to-date. I'm at a loss. I'm shoot changing from rear curtain and front curtain and STILL I find banding when I shoot past 1/250 shutter speed. I've tried I tried to leave a comment on your other KZbin page, but comments were not available. So I hope you see this one. I have reached out to several KZbinrs and they all feel its the ad200pros. I have tried changing the Photo Flicker Reduction in Z8 settings and the High-Frequency Flicker Reduction. Nothing changes. I hope someone reads this and has some good advice for me. Cheers! Leanna

I can confirm the overheating issue (in summer) and the event aptitude. The wheel and hot shoe part seem cheap and flimsy, but otherwise, the V1 is GREAT. The locking system is fantastic, the modelling light I use for in between video and the battery blows my mind. Yes, it is a bit weak, but I shoot events at high ISO anyway, for the ambience, so the output is very good. I’m just afraid it will fail without warning some day, so I might consider purchasing a second unit

I'm the guy with the extra few dollars, and new to flash photography, well not entirely new, I'ts been more than twenty years since I used one, It woud have been a Metz 45 CT-1 Mecablitz, or a similar model....so I think I will almost certainly be going for the Godox unit. cheers for the informative video...

Hi, really enjoyed your video!! Question: on a budget. I have an older but expensive pro Panasonic camcorder - was around $2500-entry level pro. Can I use that with this affordable TMP100? The other question/challenge is: I really simply want to work off a desktop with a virtual background on a conference call or something like that using Zoom, Google Meet. So, I would want to position it either without a tripod on some books or something that could elevate it on my desktop like I'm doing a conference call. Could this work for me? Any tips on how to set that up? Again, I basically want to do a zoom-type conference call with a laptop on a desk and be able to read the script. Thanks!

I was following along until you got to the zoom portion but I cannot get the zoom portion to change anymore. It's stuck on 14mm. I pushed a button on the right that changed the S1 to S2 to nothing on the screen. Don't know what this is. Tried resetting the flash with no luck. Any idea how I can get this back? Thx

I use four MS200’s (V) in a relatively small studio, 3 meter wide and 4 meter deep. Two of them are in softboxes (main and fill-in), two of them have barndoors with colour filters (red and blue) installed for the background. The main flash is set at 1/8, the fill-in flash is set at 1/32. The background flashes are set to 1/1 and 1/2. I typically shoot at ISO 200, F4. So in my setup the MS300’s would have been overkill.
