Hello, excellent review Please answer. I have Panasonic camera GX8. Can I control Canon TTL flashes only with X PRO-o controler for Olympus? If I can, would I have full TTL functionality or just manual? I have two great Shanny flashes for Canon I would like to not change them for specific Panasonic flashes. Thank you

+TravelLove that’s a good fundamental question... can’t believe I missed that. I think I did because up until the time of review I literally never had to change batteries. I do not know the rates battery life, but I think it is some extraordinary amount. This thing doesn’t use a lot of juice from what I can see... and I have left the same batteries in there for a long time. I use eneloop rechargeable batteries, so that may also play a part because they are decent quality. My opinion, is if you are worried about running out of batts mid shoot, I don’t think that is going to be an issue. That being said... it’s really easy to forget to flip the power switch. Hey there, I’m afraid you wont be able to use the different models on the brands they weren’t designed for. In some case you MAY get the flash to fire only, but you will definetly not going to get any TTL information from the camera.

Hi Anil, these are proprietary for the Godox brand of flashes. Godox does go by a few names though... “Godox”, “wistro” and I believe one more that i can’t recall right now.

i had an issue where, when i turned on this flash trigger(after underexposing for the ambient shot as i know flash will take care of the rest) the whole evf screen was overexposed. If i added flash it would be blown out totally.. i use sony a7iii. Is it because i need to update the firmware? Thanks
