That's a lot of money on ice. If you were doing that on the regular a fridge would definitely be the way to go. Also, ice can just be a pain to deal with, having to dig through it constantly to grab what you want.

I have the 64QT what a POS. DO NOT BUY. this product will tell you the incorrect temperature and when you unplug and plug it back in I will have one temp in the negatives and another in the 70s. Both sides set to 40. It will not go to the set temperature. It will either stay way above or way below. It seems like whatever is supposed to cool both sides only does on one side. Buyer beware, I've had to throw out a lot of food because it spoiled.

Hey good info. I wouldn't wiggle that power cord port though. I've heard that if you use Eco mode the temp will fluctuate more... so that is why you would use the non-Eco mode. Regarding the handles, there are many other models with proper handles. I believe the handles on this one is intended for low profile. The model I ordered has similar recessed handles and I chose it because it's intended to fit in a small space. I had to keep measuring and also had to "guess" in the end that the dimensions given were accurate. Lucky that it does fit.
@mannygee0059 ай бұрын
I ended up with two 12v DC fridges. The 1st one I got a while ago and seems to work like it should, it's 47qt with a pull handle plus hinge handles, and wheels. I needed one to fit in a smaller space so I went ahead and bought a 25qt dual zone with very similar dimensions as yours. It must have thicker insulation because it's 5qt less. It was $170.

This thing is so heavy it makes 0 sense for off-roading while trying to minimize trail damage. It's 700 lbs heavier than a G wagon, 400 pounds heavier than a LC200, and 1,500 lbs heavier than a 4dr bronco badlands. And that's stock. No lift, no armor, no frig, no bigger wheel & tire combo. It's a modern dinosaur that's basically lipstick on a pig. At least it looks cool & has character
@alexwbakker9 ай бұрын
Well, in fairness, it is heavy because it already has skid plates, steel bumpers, and off road tires. If you add those things to an lc200, you’ll be in the same ballpark, but with a hit on payload.

We just saw a new Defender with the factory roof basket and side window storage box last night. It's amazing how much better INEOS did at making a Defender than Land Rover! If you're paying new SUV money, this is really the number 1 option.
@VegaVenturing9 ай бұрын
Agree 100%. Once you decide you're gonna spend money on a new vehicle, the Grenadier is a solid option if you want old school looks and off road capability. A renovated LR Defender with modern components will run you $160,000 - $280,000 for a top quality build. Makes the Grenadier look like a bargain in comparison. lol We love it so far.

Lovely footage throughout, you have a great eye for a good shot. Love watching stuff like this to get ideas. We just don’t have these wide open wildernesses in which to wander in Ireland, everywhere is basically owned by someone, non the less these places inspired me to try to reinvent overlanding in the network camping idea here in Ireland. It’s worked in its own way. Will be following along in your adventures on here.

Thank you! Over here we have State forests, National Forests, and BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land. These are all public lands that we can explore for free, and are usually allowed to camp at. The general rule is you can stay in a single spot for up to 14 days, then after must move to another location. Oregon is a massive state, and lot of central and eastern Oregon is sparsely populated with huge stretches of vast land. It can take us 8 hours to travel to a single spot in our own state. We put lots of miles on our rigs, but the trip is always worth it. Thanks for watching!
