Morning Dave - you had some great adventures in 2024. Thank you for sharing them with us. There is something so endearing about your videos. I really do look forward to watching them. The train from here to edale is beset by problems and replacement buses at the moment (4hr journey Whe it’s normally 2.5) so I’m looking to get there towards end of January!

That was a fantastic inversion. Winter ones are even better because of the low sun but that was great. Almost worth the bad weather later on ! I'm sure the pictures do not convey how cold it was. Windy, damp, just above freezing....not good. Another great video, looking forward to 2025 😁

This blessed land, when the dragons breathe rolls in. Absolutely stunning in any weather. That’s the reason I use a separate container for boiling water, to keep the previous food remnants away & that funny taste.

Hi Dave, bumped into you all at the guide post, Hope cross. Recognised your vlog whilst scrolling youtube. Nice to meet you all, I got to have beans on toast at the shack. It was a bit claggy that night and took a while to find a pitch. I was out for two nights also, the weather gods were on our side which meant some awesome views of the Skyline.

That was a wonderful video Dave, your editing skills and production qualities are beyond reapproach mate. I have to apologise for the loud noises in the background when I was putting my tent up and you were initially thanking Paul for your new bag (If I'd known I was so loud, I would have stopped mate). This was a brilliant camping trip Dave, and if you weren't with me then I doubt that I would have walked that far, so thank you for being my inspiration. I'd also have to thank Simon for his upbeat candor and for keeping our spirits up along the way, he's a top bloke. This was another of those hiking/camping trips which I'll remember until the day that I pop my clogs mate. Looks like I'm the first for once! By heck, I remember Cooper's Cafe in Edale when it was two old railway sheds knocked together; with buckets placed strategically to catch water from the leaking roof. Under the new ownership it looks very nice and quite sophisticated. Sat in a campervan outside Grassington at the moment. Will watch this properly later today.
