I have just told myself over the years that the lasers in Star Wars are made up of photons like our lasers, but those photons have been arranged or compressed (excited?) in such a way that makes them behave as if they have physical mass, and when they collide with an object with enough mass to sufficiently disrupt their momentum, that lightning-in-bottle effect is transferred into raw energy, I.e. tons of heat and a little explosion. I see lightsabers as an even more “stable” version of this effect, where the beam is flowing in some sort of contained magnetic loop and never explodes, just transfers heat very very quickly on contact. Obviously this isn’t scientific but it does kind of make all the lore and terminology work for me.

Star Wars Starfighter was better than Battle For Naboo

Leigh being called general could have been so cool if they didn't make them old sick losers . She could have literally been a Jedi master visiting Luke and keeping up there training or being part of Luke's rebuilding of the Jedi schools and stuff . She could have been searching for Kylo the whole time telling Luke after what happened to them it wasn't his fault and honest mistake . She could have found kylo first and have the first big twist he was kylo ren ben Skywalker solo . Then goes back and tells Luke and at that time rey comes and it's her introduction. Man Disney crazy for this .this alone has lost them sooooooo much credibility.

Also my one gripe is idk if the gungans are “prmitive” for using animals and natural resources, they have like plasma balls and energy shields and shit as well. More like the Trade Federation and the Naboo have the wealth required to build so called advanced societies and technology

I’ve always loved the obi wan subplot of him trying to discover a planet that by all accounts shouldn’t exist, and uncovering a secret jedi funded army. The mystery of him trying to find out the location of the planet, combined with the amazing suspenseful score really sold that part to me as a kid. Wish they leaned into it more

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with the idea that RLM is the sole reason anyone hated the prequels. Yes they started a lot of anti-prequel sentiment due to their popularity, but to suggest that there wasn't widespread dissatisfaction with the prequels from day one is absurd.
