Would love to go to Angola, had family who went to Lubango some years ago and it piqued my interest - the Serra da Leba Mountain Pass is amazing
@roamingyak2 сағат бұрын
It sure is an interesting place... the pass is not that enjoyable for those who suffer from vertigo like me!! 😂🤣 but I drove it 6 times anyway.... Your turn now!

As ever, I'd love to hear your comments and thoughts... Would you like to go to Angola?!

What time/month of the year was that in Namibia? Any changings in animal behavior compared to the dry season?
@roamingyak6 күн бұрын
It was mostly in Jan/Feb, the height of the rainy season. Yes, the animals are often very different, more energy so more playing and fighting, and babies being born everywhere - so interesting to see all of the fresh babies!

I have never seen Namibia as green as that. Thank you for showing me.

Howdy from Texas Big D! And I don’t mean Dallas! Great shots of all the birds,Lions,Rhinos, and that beautiful leopard in the tree! Sometimes it seemed you were in a boat rather than a Landy! Epic drive across Africa! No swimming in rivers allowed! Saddle up!

Brilliant episode. The storytelling more than makes up for any shortcomings in filming and audio (which aren't that bad). This is my favourite new channel.

Oh, thanks mate!!! Thank for jumping in the passenger seat! The filming gets better series by series - not sure I can say the same about the dodgy bloke in front of the camera though :-)

Great that you are back Darrin, but boy have you got your work cut out ! And I for one can't wait till your next series. On a lighter note, your piece to camera from your intro where you can't remember your own script, made me giggle, mainly because I've did that myself a few times. I love that you put that clip in. Like I've said before I really enjoy your talking head parts, it kinda joins the whole video together if that makes any sense.....I'll be in that passenger seat of you next episode. ps. Sorry for the late comment, work's a bitch haha.

Thank you as always Martin, though apologies for the lack of singing in this one. I'm glad you noticed my efforts in trying to string it together with various parts so that its enjoyable & tantalising to watch and gives you a flavour of what to expect... it would be a bit soulless without the odd shot of my handsome face adumbrating some bush wisdom 🤣😂 Another one out of Friday!
@martinqualters60818 күн бұрын
Lack of singing is disappointing, but I don't like to leave negative remarks, haha. Keep doing what you're doing mate
