Nice one! My thoughts went more in the direction of a coffin rather than an ironing board. Hm, coffin table... this might be something for the future... 🤔 Anyhow, mag-drills are awesome, but I'm conditioned by Hollywood that they are only used to drill into bank vaults, so it's nice to see one used for good! 😁

Hey Tyler! A few things: 1) the table looks awesome. Great work! 2) that router bit is awesome! I've never seen anything like that for steel, i might have to get my hands on one. 3) what's going on with that truck in the driveway? Looks beautiful. 4). Your video/content quality is killer. I don't know how you don't have more subscribers. Keep it up man!

Could it be made more stable by filling the legs up to 1/2-full with lead? If you do not want to melt lead, you could use lead shot.
@MSladekPhoto4 жыл бұрын
Wow! How much does that thing weigh? It looks so cool! You could market to single folks in small spaces as a multi function piece of furniture - coffee table and ironing board and short step ladder and so much more. As always, congrats on another amazing project. Also, congrats on sponsorship with send cut send and launching your Patreon! Whooohooo!
@TylerBellMakes4 жыл бұрын
90 lbs! Haha step ladder😂 thanks Michael!
@FearsomeWarrior3 жыл бұрын
How would it work out if you had turned the pair of legs outward 90 degrees in the initial setup? I think the weight from the nose would have kept it down and made the legs stick out much farther for stability. Very curious.
@rlockwood24 жыл бұрын
for the countersink height; rather than relying on diameter, set a depth stop such that the fastener is proud and do an initial cut. Insert the fastener and measure the height it protrudes by. Adjust the depth stop down by that amount.. Recut. #hella-flush every time.
@michaelomalley64 жыл бұрын
I like the technique you have shown with cutting and forming taperd tubes. I think you can go one step further in designing a more radial style to your tube forming. thinking it might be hard to get clean cuts to form without using a plasma cutter, idk if you have one, but you know what im sayin? like in th coffee table the small steel bar inlay could be a more radial type pattern/inlay. you know like when you put a ruller on its edge and bend it to make curves etc.
@michaelomalley64 жыл бұрын
im not saying i know how to do it but Im sure you could figure it out greeat stuff thanks!
