I ditched my rigid 3/8 cable for a general 3/8 cable the heads are better especially the drop head. Plus general cable and heads are less expensive. You’re a good man for fixing that grinder too!! 🤠

I only carry white switches and covers. Thats what I use on everything lol. I probably should carry a few other colors in the rare chance i need them. People seem to like the white ones the best, the beige and ivory ones look drab.

Seems like 9 out of 10 of the lights that I change dont have a ground, alot of them dont even have a box!😆. They are screwed right into the drywall or plaster.

Wow, we are all working today it seems🙄. Here it is 6:30 Sunday night and im just heading over to a house a customer is flipping, its behind schedule and i have to run some new receptacles and pull a couple ceiling fans down so the painters can paint. Have to put in a vanity light above the bathroom sink where there is none now🙄. Probably get home around midnight. It was bad weather yesterday so i didnt go😊. I like to work when the other butcher workers the GC has working there aren't working anyway🤷‍♂️😆

Could you have verified the ground by touching the meter probe to armored cable and other probe to neutral wire and look for continuity. I'm obviously not an electrician lol.

Look up Third Hand by Fastcap. I have 2 of each length from 2' to like 9' or so. The short ones would work perfect for holding the range hood up for you. So many uses for them, especially for guys that work alone.

Carpet tape 3m ourdoor tape or even a trigger clamp can give you a third hand for stuff like that pesky hood install. My bet was the kid flushed a toy happens more often then actual bio clogs when they have kids lol.

Range hoods work with a switch, they are usually by the the counter just flip the switch up
