I jumped into Simracing in 2021 and started right away with high quality gear, not the most expensive, but definately at a level (Simucube 2 Pro wheelbase, Cube Controls GT and Formula wheels and Heusinkveld pedals) wich i´m sure about that i´ll never need anything better. I made this mistake once when i got back into combat flightsim, started with a Saitek X-55 HOTAS with Saitek rudder pedals, replaced this 8 months later with a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and TPR pedals and went for the realy good stuff (Virpil, Realsimulator, Slaw Device) just a year after spending money for the Thrustmaster stuff. Would´ve saved me a lot of money if i would´ve purchased the proper stuff from the beginning.

How do you get it to overlay properly for live streaming? I am having issues with ACC Drive not displaying when I set it up for stream.

Hey Bradley great video as always! just wondered if there's any chance you could share your stream settings with the G9 i just cant seem to be able to get it all correct without big black bars etc when using obs or without having to zoom in quite a bit on the picture to get rid of them?

First wasn’t you’re fault at all. Was a late dive from the other guy. The 2nd incident I feel you was too aggressive. Was a very late lunge that he wasn’t expecting. Loved the video though

Do u have connection issues with acc drive where it freezes the game and u have to restart acc drive

Yea sorry it took so long. It has been really hard to edit videos on the go, and sadly don't see me being able to get another video out before we head back home. Can't wait to get stuck into season 17 though, and 2025 is going to be epic!

Great racing and review. The rejoin from the blue and white Aston in race 1 was appalling and very unsporting. If you are off-track you have to rejoin safely, not barge back on pushing other cars off line.

Great holidays to you. Looking at your tires it seems in all the races the outside of them can't get to temperatures. Maybe the camber is off?

@@BradleySettersMotorsport The leagues I race in are starting next week 2 races both at Zolder GT3's on Tuesday night and GT4's on Friday night. Two different leagues, so I'm racing different people in each race.

Yes I have a rig tour on the channel. I totally understand the struggle of going to PC, as I had no idea about it all when I was setting this up. I worked with a PC store to build my computer, and it made it so much easier. But check the vid out and I explain it all there.

Great video, as someone starting in LFM few weeks ago, I'd love to see weekly recaps of different tracks. Plus even though you say you're new, you're not AS NEW as some others (me included), thus any commentary towards (un)ethical or mistakes that you see others doing while on the track would be appreciated. For example that McLaren diving, was that ok? This is the sort of the knowledge alot of SIM racing youtubers take for granted, since newer racers never had this experience elsewhere, so it would be interesting to hear and learn together. Diving is generally ok, if the defending car leaves the door open. But you better make sure to still make the corner (while also leaving space for the other car) and not use the other car as an extra brake, otherwise a penalty is sure to go your way. But if you send it from too far back and the other car is already turning towards the apex and you hit them, you will get a penalty. So it's really up to you whether or not you want to take the risk :) What the McLaren was doing was on the limit, but still fair on the first try. The second attempt was a bit dirtier, since there was a doorbang involved and he pushed Bradley off the track, which could get him a penalty if reported, IMO.

Hey, Yes I totally understand. It is tricky to work out, particularly in the middle of the race. @TzeiEm explained the situations in this race perfectly. But I recommend you have a look back on some of my old videos, and certainly read the comments. I have sometimes asked for feedback on race situations, and the community has been amazing in helping out. I will try do a video about all this at some point though.

Buy one cry once. With PCs and sim gear it cost more to keep incrementally upgrading than it does to spend the money at the beginning.

Thank you! I really hope that LFM can take on AC Evo as it develops. I think we can expect multiplayer in some of the first few early release updates. But Evo will be slow burn next year, so ACC I feel will keep going strong through next year.

Sorry Im not with the rig for the holidays to tell you exactly the FOV. But best thing to do would be to use a good FOV calculator and use that number. FOV is so individual based on your screen and rig set up. So the FOV I use may be totally wrong for you.

My overlays are from ACC Drive. Lots of cool features and lots more info compared to the normal ACC stuff. I haven't used it in VR, but its all works in VR.

I just joined LFM and have yet to do my license stuff because I figured I wasnt good enough but after watching you race in these rookie races im seeing that the other players arent far off from where I am in skill

Yea there is a good spread of skill across LFM. I think if you only watch the alien pace drivers then you do feel like you're not fast enough for LFM. Its why I really wanted to show off the racing from day one and show that its more achievable then people think. Keen to hear how your first races go once you're there!

Hey, I am by no means professional and I am trying to up my safety rating to join LFM too (just trying to learn every track one by one now). But one thing I notice instantly is that you, before you break, put already like 5% pressure on your break pedal while at the same time pushing the throttle at 100%. I don't know but this could be an issue for the tire temps (as the breaks heat up more) but I am not sure. I just heard that player at the high leagues always try to avoid this by breaking with the right foot. Maybe up the deadzone for your break pedal to not loose on time and be more precise when breaking for corners. See: 01:48 - 01:50 P.S. love your videos as I am on the same path but my SR is still very low and it will take time to get to 85. So you are very inspiring for me. Thank you!

Hey mate! Yea it was a bad habit early on for me. Made some tweaks and it's much better now. It's not enough to over heat the tyres, you just lose some time. Glad you are enjoying the videos though! Look forward to hearing how your first LFM races go!

All the overlays are from ACC Drive. Lots of extra information as a result, and I find it really helpful.

Recently they harassed a guy from my League for not using real name, they went on to ask him to send in an ID proving it's his name, which it wasn't as he was using Star Wars character name but obviously it wasn't offensive or anything. Then once he requested deletion of his account, they contacted him saying that they'd let him use it if he becomes a patreon. Left a really bad taste in my mouth and few of us left the platform. Seems they focus in wrong things instead of improving the platform, this was on AMS2.

This LFM license is being really profitable for a lot people trying to sell their setups, etc. One can use the safe or agressive setups available in the game for the license. Don't get in this rabbit hole, as it isn't easy as it seems. One must be driving ACC for "hundreds" of hours to be able to bit the 107% mark. Thanks for video! Best

From what I understand of it, all wheel bases expect for Fanatec can be used. Fanatec only allows their wheels to be used, otherwise you have no FFB. But if you are looking to buy a full set up, I would totally recommend buying all Simagic gear. I have found my stuff to be great.

Think it's about 3s of loss then the car spawns up to stop sign at pit so very important to never drive to far

Hey! My set ups the last while have been from GoSetups. I have a subscription with them. But early on I used some of the free set ups others have available on KZbin. Had some good results with those as well.
