I think removing the short rest is axtually wuite good, and if they did get more spells that would be amazing, but removing the automatic upcast is relly bad.

About the primal senses, they did give back rages on a short rest now, so I think it may actually be worth it

No one is going to use the 24' Paladin changes lol. Smite now clashes with BA attacks from feats etc, now can be counterspelled, and now faces damage resistance where it was supposed to shine (demons etc). Also, now others can pick it up as a spell? Ya - garbage changes. If burst was actually a problem (it wasn't / crit levels are too low in dnd) then they could have just limited it to once per round.

Tarrasque has 5 attacks. It would just need to hit the sidekick 3 times to kill it. (1 to drop it to 0 HP, 2 to force 4 death save fails)
