1. Ambi safety - 45 degree safety is more useful 2. Fancy End Plates - terrible place to mount a sling anyways 3. Ambi Charging Handle - Depends on the setup, can get good $45 ambi charging handles so it's a moot point 4. Backup Iron Sights - you can get good steel iron sights for roughly $100. Spending $200 on any iron sight is moronic 5. Trigger - if it's a duty rifle it better not have a cassette trigger in it as replacing springs is impossible, Geissele ain't cheap, at most upgrade from mil-spec to enhanced springs These are my thoughts on what was mentioned. I agree on most points save the iron sights. Three sighting methods are more than enough, but $200 is still excessive. Literally the only difference between a $100-120 set of steel iron sights and a $200 set or iron sights is typically name brand and machining quality and the machining quality on the lower price set is still good. Durability ain't going to be enough of a difference to even be noticed. Personally, I see upgraded grips as being the biggest waste of money. Any grip that costs more than $25 is just stupid. I get the Magpul XL grip as I have big hands. I see all of these $80+ grips get recommended and I'm like "why, just why?" Also, I don't buy prebuilt rifles. I've built all of my own. If you have an A2 grip, it's perfectly fine. It's not really worth spending money on other grips. It's just a comfort thing.

To be honest, I know many wonderful Spanish speaking people, from all different countries, and I'm fine with a rough patch of hostory if, IF, it leads to a better future for them. Of course I'm America first, but my point is that if targeting illegals and cartels leads to a temporary horrible point in history, I'm okay with that if the outcome is that the cartels become a thing of the past. It's hard to be educated on what they do and not have a heart for it.
