When you say Wiggers you're still referring to the N word btw. Culture Vulture and Slumming is a common thing in the White community and most Black Americans see it a mile away. Even Immigrants cosplay in Black American culture, it's never sincere. We see it as racist for what it is because its actually stereotype cosplaying. Enjoying Hip-hop doesn't mean you're not a law abiding citizen. People who slum think they can fulfill their degenerate desires by being in proximity to the Black underbelly of our society while cosplaying us. Most Slummers and Culture Vultures never fully have access to our community because we don't trust them. Malcom X warned us of White Liberals because they are the worst racist, the movie Get Out sensationalized an example of it. Even the card carrying White Supremist today can't help being culture vultures at the same time. Using blackish speech patterns, wearing certain styles of clothes, absorbing black trends to be socially relevant... cough... excuse me. Again we see them a mile away even the ones who don't realize they have identity issues. Some White female slummers would have sex with a lot of black dudes in college and turn out to be KARENS in their later years. If you noticed there wasn't a lot of black folks in these movies because in real life we avoid these people, and probably beat them up. The clothes they were wearing in theses movies always looked better on us because it was our culture and we didn't have ulterior motives behind it. To be influenced is one thing but colonizing cultural identity that they don't have lineage to is a whole different can of worms. These movies dated horribly, but it it what it is.

I always assumed the old guys who sat around all day judging and complaining about the koreans being successful was supposed to be ironic, the movie clearly shows them sitting around doing nothing rather then them getting up and trying to look for work. And its one of those things as the kid of immigrants that i detest, cause immigrants work ethic is unmatched compared to an americans.

This movie is basically a big "love letter"/tribute from Robert Rodriguez to the Hong Kong "Heroic Bloodshed" Action movies by John Woo & Ringo Lam. The whole dual wielding shoot outs specifically are very John Woo inspired.

I hate them both. They are supposed to be cautionary tales, but people are to stupid to understand this. Gangs ate low life scavengers that feed on the pain of the poor. Some people are actually not ashamed of going to jail, which blows my mind. How can someone soil their family name and be proud of it?

I’ll say I love this movie , it’s a staple of my childhood. I don’t want to be that guy but Antonio Banderas is not Mexican or Latino for that matter and really should have had someone else but money talks. People would pay more to see Banderas over some other Mexican actor at the time. On the other hand though El Mariachi is a bad ass character and Banderas played him with lots gusto. Rodriguez made a fun film Call blue beetle cringe or what you will at least it made an attempt to create a Latino film about a Chicano character with actual Latino actors. I will admit though doesn’t necessarily guarantee it will be a well made film or well accepted. I will say for those that are unhappy that there are not enough good representations of Mexicans in cinema, if you think you could do better produce your own film or story. There are people out there that are willing to create it , I guarantee you that. Salud, thanks for the film review.
