I rarely take the subway, but when i do, it’s one way and then back on the same day. Well, both ways there is always a delay and it’s always smth involving a person being harmed. It’s so unnerving I can barely manage to relax whenever on ttc… smth evil is dwelling there now, I’m not even kidding. The energy on ttc has changed so drastically.

Many dumbasses think it’s funny to pretend to jump in front of the train to psyche out the driver or impress their friends. I’ve even seen parents to it to their kids, or dudes with their girlfriends. However this happened to this dude, it’s not funny. People were traumatized that day. The driver will get as much time as they need off, with pay. So who’s the joke really on?

Why are they trying to be "inclusive" with christian holidays, but with other religions we have to celebrate their religious holidays. I don't mind other holidays even though I don't celebrate them, but somehow that doesn't matter with christian holidays.

9:35 ??? I rate Jada as an artist. I went to her show during the summer last year I believe it’s when Alkaline and Skeng performed at Taj banquet hall outdoors. She’s a piss poor performer that’s it. I was offered free tickets to this show and I declined based off the strength of the above mentioned performance.

I can't say for sure but it looks to me like he was trying to climb out but didn't make it in time. Something people should know is that if for some reason you find yourself on the tracks with a train coming right at you, do not try to climb out. Instead you should go into the area underneath where the platform overhangs the tracks. It might be scary but you will be perfectly safe there until you can be rescued.

My friend told me this I think last week or the week before we're just talking and chilling and all that and he opened up his IG and on a Toronto news platform 6 buzz da you said something was some dude like chopped up in half and it was because it was these homeless people that walked in and that's something TTC loves allowing So after that he jumped at tracks and then when he'd seen the train coming he tried hopping back out and ask when he got ya know butchered in half

Jada can't perform alone she a pretty filler .... Her bangers... 1,3-5 tracks and get off the stage.... Been to a few shows with her in it .. when she comes out it's a break a time to catch ur breath before the next artist comes out ... In my humble opinion

What's scary as well is that as somebody who has been taking transit for years, I can speculate as to who it was with you saying crack heads. the usual characters. And yes there is room for error but there should be no way to decipher who it was. it should come as shocj and dismay, but there are shady characters who end up in the transit system who im sure we all know about if we have been taking transit long enough. it shouldnt be that way.

It doesn't matter if there are railings or ppl there bc when someone is determined to end it they will, and I say this from experience as my father committed suicide.☹ For ppl to get to this point they are feeling so hopeless and helpless they feel there is no other option which breaks my heart. Especially for the 9 year young boy who was fully aware at the end what was happening, but probably couldn't do anything about it which is so heartbreaking. Thankfully at 9 month old the baby was not aware what was happening during this tragic event. RIP to mom + 2 children, and if anyone is feeling down like they want to end it I'm always here if anyone ever needs to talk or just needs a friend. ❤ God bless and let's be kind to each other. 🙏🏽❤

For many reasons it's not publicized which is a good thing bc we never want to make this commonplace or numb folks even more than they are to these kinds of things. Until we know for sure people should not speculate bc this could have been an accident, but the truth is the month of December is the month with the highest suicides on the TTC bc a lot of ppl are feeling very lonely, sad & depressed around the holidays, so let's be kind to each other bc we never know what ppl are going through. My father committed suicide, so it's not a nice thing or sonething that should be made public for the respect of everyone involved, and I hope whoever this person is their soul is at peace, and everyone who saw this gets the help they need to deal with trauma.🙏🏽 God bless and if anyone ever is thinking they want to end it bc they feel no hope I'm always here for anyone who needs a friend. 🙏🏽❤

I live in Ottawa. I think reporting it might cause some people thinking about suicide to find some solace in knowing that others will read about it and that might encourage it.

A friend of mine used to push trains back and forth on the Bloor Danforth line for 20 years. He says drivers get two months off automatically if someone jumps in front of their train. Some drivers never recover from the trauma. Others are fine with it. One guy had 6 jumpers in his career, never took a day off. They called him the Terminator

I was there and I left with more or less the same perspective as the 1st girl. However, I also wouldn't say the crowd wasn't giving. I would just say the crowd was matching jada's energy. All the djs was lit from start to when jada took over. She came out and was giving cool down vibe. The crowd was vibing with her but it was giving closing time vibe, u know?
