I love this scene. I never understood why she would get so serious on the „no it didn‘t“, to me she looks downright sad. Why? Do you guys have ideas? Does she mistake his cpmment that he only kissed her because he thought the world ends? K don‘t think so, they knew they saved it AND I totally understand his comment as „didn‘thurt, did it“ like „I am in, I kissed you and I liked it“ and then her reaction.. does that mean „I‘m not“? Get a grip Mulder, this cannot happen? I just don‘t understand this scene at all.

Anyone else a little confused over the dialogue? I mean, I am a shipper, I love the intimacy in this, the touch of his lips drives me wild, but the dialogue… to me it is a little out of character. They are never cheese like that. The wording. They just don‘t sound like Mulder and Scully to me. Anyone else?

Best written tv show of all time and it’s not even close.

If CC wanted the Mulder and Scully to have a platonic relationship, then he should have chosen different actors. There is a karmic relationship between GA and DD, soul connection. You just can't fake this type of chemistry. They had disagreements or were frustrated with each other at times throughout earlier filming-they said in interviews anyway.... could you tell? No. Because you can't fake a chemistry like theirs. You just can't. Brilliant actors. Absolutely brilliant.

Dude legit in the beginning when Mulder confirmed that the new year was canonically coming up I was thinking “oh it’d be cool if they kissed lol” and then at that scene I was like “dang there is romantic tension here but ok” and then I kissed and I was like “****ING CALLED IT”
