Not really a dance song but a pop tune but these fantastic go-go girls and go-go guys are working it on the dance floor. Wonderful energy these young folks have. It's a very memorable performance all around ❤❤❤

Anybody know where I can find the live CSNY rendition of this. It featured a particularly "balls out" "va-voom" guitar contribution from Neil which I've never heard bettered. Circa 2001 I think

Received this album in 1966 along with a portable record-player. I listened endlessly to it. I was blissed out that day and for the rest of my life. Here in 2025.

All these comments about Gene speak VOLUME about the genius and deepness of that man. He got spun into the whirlwind of fame with his brilliance at such a young age that it was hard to grasp the relevance of what was even happening beyond his eyes. I don’t blame him for leaving that group, that’s such an immense pressure and scrutiny anyone could imagine. Especially, consider that time which media coverage was more centralized than modern era. Maybe the Byrds was meant to be more of a cycling cast. I think he was just his own anomaly, he was central to the formation but not the configuration of The Byrds if that makes sense. Kind of the catalyst that was *destined* for his own route. I think anyone who’s had the privilege of hearing No Other or his other projects would agree. The fear of flying thing was more or less directly related to the increased tension and pressure leading to a nervous breakdown. Put yourself in the shoes of someone who genuinely loves performing and creating music and shining a giant spotlight in your eyes cause you had a brilliant idea and suddenly it just got a little to intense while the others were still dialing in to it’s beams. Just put yourself in the guy’s shoes, he dealt with an awful lot in his life and gave back quite a lot to music

Pure music. No gimmicks. The Byrds were ahead of their time. McGuinn is an underappreciated musician.

One of Gene Clark's best songs. Sadly, he was held back by these other people. Columbia needs to strip the others off the recordings and put better players on there. Yeah.
