The most unrealistic thing about this movie was that it was China that wanted to destroy the aliens instead of the US immediately nuking them into oblivion

The only explanation I can think of is that the best they could do to overcome the "don't kill humans" part of the laws of robotics is to interpret it as the species rather than individuals. Could also explain why they try to gather people into camps. if they get enough for a proper breeding population they can actually then wipe everyone else out.

Tony Stark already had the robots he needed even before the movie started. Hell, he uses those robots effectively in this very movie. And he used the robots to fight in Iron Man 3. So Tony's insistence on needing some random Ai he pulled out of a staff made no sense whatsoever. Also Winter Soldier was a dumb movie that made no sense. A cybernetic arm is not a super power cause you can still be easily beaten by a gun. Or just someone running you over with a car.
