If i knew yoyakunow is from on eof the nippon yasan ppl I would have never placed my order. My time to get a refund is not possible anymore since i have exceeded 180 days because of the preorder. 700 bucks! Just gone! It is the first time being scammed by a japanese store ever! Im really disappointed and will never order anything again that takes longer than 180 days

I bought one of the Pochaco mousepads back in 2017. The first one came busted, took almost 10 months before I got a replacement. Thing is massive! I have two massive Pochaco mousepads, been thinking about fixing the second one and reselling it but I have no skills or knowledge on how to fix it. I randomly went through my bookmarks, and wanted to see what else they sold today. Sad times.

I've noticed that many figures tend to bin very hard nowadays. And where I live, in Germany it's still possible to get decent pre-owned deals. So, nowadays I would only pre-order when I *really* want to get the figure, which also has become rare to be honest. The extra hassles, like waiting forever, huge VAT, and uncertainty about exchange rates and dates really make pre-ordering nerve-wracking and not worth it for me most of the time. And many comments here seem to be confirming that the figures lost a lot of their value, which also really sucks when you jump through all these hoops to be left only somewhat satisfied with your decisions...

@@IDK-wm7kf I bought through Sugo Toys who are a local store - they handle all of the importing and shipping so I dunno. Arrived to me overnight from their warehouse once the stock arrived. Cost $900, free shipping.

Wow this happened 2 years ago. I got out of the collecting game right when Covid hit. I was shocked to see that store closed. However, nin-nin game is going strong. Their facebook and instagram page is still strong and people are still sharing the stuff they got from that store.

All this time and I just realized that the manufacturer is probably pronounced Corgi-Pro-Gkit (like... Garage Kit) OOPS LOL THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW. Anyway hope y'all enjoy this one. I may or may not do a big Japan travel / vlog video next but depends how I'm feeling. Also likely won't be monetizing any of my videos moving forward. Not sure if that means you'll see less ads or if YT will yoink all the ad revenue instead.

This is an old video, but I got both for $300 (excluding taxes and shipping). I was astonished how cheap and good quality they are (compared to many overpriced one). How come you found them both for $700? I got mine from AmiAmi

I paid 20k yen each for them so about $130 USD / $190 AUD with the current exchange rate. When I preordered (and prepaid) for them in 2020 the exchange rate to AUD was the worst it had been in 15 years. So ended up being like an extra hundred each compared to today's exchange rate. I also bought mine from AmiAmi (after the Nippon Yasan blunder)

@@TheAndoExperience I might have been lucky with the rates when I ordered, because I was skeptical due to the relative cheap price. But I’m pretty sure it was 20k yen I paid as well. So Nippon Yasan became Nin-nin games? Because I have purchased two figures from Nin-nin and didn’t have any issues (and the price on their website includes taxes, making them really cheap). But I will be more skeptical in the future.

@@Softlol no. Nippon Yasan has nothing to do with Nin Nin Game. Also figure prices have heavily inflated over the last 5 or so years. Re-issues however are usually the same as the original price. I feel like they were still relatively expensive when they first released.

I was so excited to see this pop up in my feed! As a certified anime nerd who also worked in a library for a few years, I wholehearted approve this change in direction. Fantasy isn’t usually my go-to genre, but the Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells is a great series I read last year that I would highly recommend! The books are pretty short so I found them good for getting through reading slumps. It’s good to see you posting again.

Pretty similar experience to me too personally I started off with arknights Kaltsit n Texas nendoroid, Kaltsit's colours were really washed out and monst3r was TOO SMALL LIKE THAT WAS SOME OF THE BEST PART ABOUT HER ans texas is just aight like a C
