Great, fantastic, brilliant ! Still a bit of work on the sound, feeling, the vibratos, the accuracy of the bends to match the power and absolute perfection of Andrey Korolev's 'God level' and unsurpassable version. Amazing ! 🎸👏👍

The magic of Pink Floyd is when Roger, Rick, David, and Nick stuck together in honor of syd. That collaborative era of the 4 of them is unmatched.

My favourite Gilmour tone is the Live in Pompei and the Live in Gdansk too. I already have 3 different Keeley 2 in 1 pedals (Muse Driver which is a Blues Breaker) (Blues Disorder which is a Blues Breaker and OCD) (Noble Screamer which is a TS-808 and Nobles ODR1) If I get the Ram's head that you have for Live in Pompei, I could also use my Blues Driver to boost it as an option. I also have. Keeley Halo echo and a Keeley Katana Boost that could help. I play mostly at bedroom levels but will eventually buy a good attenuator so that I can crank my Mesa Boogie Mark V 35 head. Is the Rams head the best for my situation or the Green Russian would be better? I have a brand new Fender Strat professional II (Dark Knight) with 3 single coils pickups (V MOD II)

Brilliant stuff dude!!! This is one of Gilmour's most under-rated solos. Keep an ear out for my track "Talk to Me" off my debut album released on Jan31. If you're into PF as I am, i think you'll like. Long live the music.

Thanks for the great info. In his excellent recent interview to the famous producer/youtuber Rick Beato, David Gilmour said he never uses compressor in front of a Big Muff (he jokes that Big Muffs are never subtle, and of course he’s right). 🙂 He uses extensively compressors in front of different tube drivers, each pair with a different gain. Usually 2 or 3 pairs, he says. You can easily find the whole interview here in YT.

Thank you! I’m quite sure he’s talking about the last tour and the tour before that because let’s face it they sound very similar. Around PULSE and before that, Gilmour definitely used compressor with big muff. Also we need to realize that HIS rig is very different than our small rigs :)

It's nice to see that someone isolated this particular solo with the Jedson steel lap guitar. I LOVE THAT THING and I was blessed to see this tour in two different cities in 94 - Philadelphia first and then at RFK a month later. I got to see them in 87 and then again in 88 at the aforementioned RFK. The thing is.. Roger Waters was playing at pavilions nearby while Floyd was selling out stadiums! I've seen Waters 4 times too but it's obviously not the same. The Floyd shows have always been the best in the business and the most memorable of all the concerts that I've seen over the years..
