I can sorta relate to your experience in the video. Back in 2018, the KZbin Channel GameHut (Jon Burton's KZbin Channel) posted a video talking about how he's in possession of a Sonic 3D Blast music demo cassette tape but couldn't upload the music because of copyright concern. They wanted to reach out to someone at SEGA to get permission to release the demo tracks but didn't know who to turn to. Later that year at SXSW Gaming 2018, SEGA held a Sonic Panel with a live Q&A and I used the opportunity to bring this to the attention of Aaron Webber and Takashi Iizuka. This particular moment had gotten the attention of GameHut who then made a follow-up video on my question. I remember seeing Sonic fans on Twitter going nuts over the matter, some of which even got the attention of Mike Pollock online over this matter. This led to some kind of discussion between GameHut and Aaron Webber in Twitter, but as far as I know this did not lead to any sort of agreement. GameHut eventually released the tracks on his channel a year or two later. Your story reminded me of this moment of mine as a Sonic fan. To think I caused a small shake-up in the Sonic fandom for a time is something I still think about today.

Colours' jump is floaty and weird, not Generations'. The 2D sections in particular in Colours control so bad because of it. And the double jump is more like a slight extra hop than a double jump. Always felt awful to me.

Yes I agree completely. Sonics full sprint animation with his fists balled up moving his arms back and forth to and from his head instead of leaving them behind his back is a fan favorite as well.

Sonic runners 2ds start up running g animation looks like the president limo catch cutscenes in sa2 it's a uniquely cool look. I admire it a lot.

I enjoyed shadows running animations very much in sonic heroes and shadow the hedgehog spinoff.

Knight and rings has the best gameplay style and animations.

I set my Xbox 360 to the wrong display settings back in 2014 and Sonic Generations blue glow was gone so when Sonic jumped, he had no jump ball like in Sonic 06. I honestly loved how that looked and wish they'd do that more often.

I will say that i have had a fine experience with colors ultimate on my switch. I don’t like colors that much but the game is able to be played just fine. I don’t know what it is but my switch has never had the same problems with sonic games like other people have had. Maybe it’s because I have the OLED but idk
