Great routine and practice to live by and start the day. So simple but not easy at all. ❤

Oh Mark that was brilliant i so enjoyed listening to your ideas and hearing other suggestions for 2025 and the future. I ended up cooking dinner with my air pods on because I wanted to listen. I've had tge thought for a time to go back to my to do list it gets it out of my head and onto paper. I can look at what I need or want to do by giving it 1 2 or 3 stars according to importance. Also I don't need to remember everything. I have M.E. and brain fog makes it hard to remember. Thanku Mark Action for Happiness is a wonderful organisation which I treasure.

Great one man show. Really timely as this year has started quite tough with my work removing things i enjoy with my work and our 5.5 year old daughter starting to play up and showing the difference in my wifes style and mine. I am a much older dad and it is tough when i come home from 5 hours of work and then take on child care. Some great pointers

Great tips and I like the baby steps advice. Are those books in your background on the shelf? If so, what books are these?

I read in a Seligman book that positive psychology is for people at a 0, not people who are at a negative number. I had plenty of stress getting me down, and I read and applied the book anyway. Note: Seligman may be unable to work with a number line. Many readers may not be able to do that, either.

This human is incredible... it's like everything he says I go "ah ha!" This makes so much sense and is grounded in love and compassion. Grateful for his existence and teachings.

I am finding that learning to trust and respect my mind and also my mind’s link to my body through the breath is bring me to a happier, more relaxed, somehow easier state of being. This has come from building on my own discoveries through watching various Buddhist youtube offerings. Thank you. From my 70yr old, grateful, happier self, thank you.

Wishing all a Happy New Year, 2025 the year of meditative practice's. Story short. 💜

In Danish language school, one of our books was called Help!I'm drowning about children not being watched by the adults at a pond and one of the kids fell in (unnoticed). Another book was about the adults in a neighborhood drinking at a neighbor's house and leaving the kids home alone and then the Christmas tree catching fire. 😁😁 It was quite the introduction to Danish educational material.♥

Hygge is so integrated into our lives. A pianist in a restaurant is called a hygge pianist. Hygge socks are not worn in boots or shoes, but just for hygge on the sofa (with plaids and pillows) or in bed. We have hygge corners in cafés and in our homes. We have hygge lights. We have hygge moments witch can last as long as drinking a cup of coffee or solving a crossword puzzle.

An important element is the difference between Happiness and Contentedness. I'd say Danes are more content than "happy", a lot less of the hustle and envy culture that people burn out on.

I don’t agree with feeling that you don’t blank the mind,he’s suggesting you just concentrate on breathing or some would say repeat a mantra. However in my opinion you would eventually drop all bodily sensations and breath which is the lightest of them all.Its just MIND FULL.God is in the blank mind. But I suppose a happiness organisation isn’t looking for god.Maybe feeling does drop the breath in his own privacy instead of looking for happiness which is the opposite of unhappiness
