Hey Matt Is there a reason you haven’t set it up outside the pool where there’s just a hose spitting the water back in? And not the whole filter system hanging out in the pool?
@JustaDude123
@JustaDude123 23 сағат бұрын
I did build another system with two large whole house filters and plumbed it back into the pool discharge line so just the hose and the pump went into the pool. It worked out for about a year than the sump pump stopped working. I did a video on it.

@@JustaDude123 do you think it was the design that made the pump fail?
@JustaDude123
@JustaDude123 22 сағат бұрын
Maybe that or, just a lot of use from a pump not designed to be used like that. Sometimes I would let it run over night but the pool water was the cleanest Id ever seen it.

Can you put the firepit on top of the pavers like that or do you need to put something in the bottom?
@JustaDude123
@JustaDude123 6 күн бұрын
Great question. I would recommend using fire bricks between the pavers and the fire to prevent any damage being caused to the pavers by the heat of the fire. I recommend fire bricks because they wont “pop” when they get hot and send hot pieces of rock/bricks flying at you. I hope this helps. Please like and subscribe. Thank you for watching!

Ugh. Its hard to tell without being able to see the parts but my best guess is some of the metal tabs on the ring are bent in a little bit making it loose. Take the ring back off, remove the glass from it (so you dont break it) bend the metal tabs out just slightly, very little then put it back together. Should tighten the ring up. Hope those helps.
