I really liked rise of the ronin it was very fun but a lot of ppl didn’t like how simplistic the combat was. Nioh had a much deeper combat system as well as much more content but Hopefully they’re working on DLC for Ronin

@@KingRedDiamondGaming hopefully they are and rise of the ronin was a good game for fighting humans instead of playing a game like ghost of Tsushima this was more on better side of fighting humans , when ROTR came out I was getting slayed by the big fat boy 😭I was like this a damn joke Ik I’m getting beat up by a fat ninja , took the time to learn his move set after 3 mins of fighting him instantly done , ghost of Tsushima wasn’t a challenge

The dual swords main scaling stat is skill and its secondary is heart. I soul matched a weapon with the transferable special effect “Transform Bonus Magic” which can only roll on a dropped weapon and cannot be tempered. When soul matching an effect with transform bonus it will overwrite the main stat in this case skill and change it to whatever the transform bonus stat is which in this case is magic so now the weapon will scale with Magic, Heart and Strength. So now when remodeling you will choose the option that gives you an A- in both stats

@DRB01 that kind of equipment only drops in dotw and above so if you’re in a lower difficulty you won’t find any equipment with it

@DRB01 i chose magic because ultimate magic is so good. Another stat I would switch to is courage because ultimate courage in my opinion is the best ultimate stat in the game but you can literally use whatever stat you want if it pair well with your build and whatever ultimate stats you may choose to use.

First sorry for the late reply and second thank you for the suggestion. If you are talking about using attack magic or ninjutsu then I would be glad to make a build. It utilizes magic and some ninjutsu but is a melee tank build very powerful and all play style friendly

It’s a set that can drop on any difficulty and on later difficulty you gain access to the Valiant Wanderer+ set

I like the ki pulse bonus from weathered bone and bleached twig and since passively corruption weapons steal ki from enemies it’s perfect for continuous attacks and longer strings of combos paired with ultimate courage it’s a wombo combo

For my completed run through underworld I used purity. In my opinion it’s the best option

I went through the same experience and from floor 16 onwards in dephts corruption build (no matter how good it is) will be less effective than purity one. I've got corruption build with both weapons at 7.1k damage, 12.4k defence, 9.5k life, perfect soul cores and all necessary buffs from graces and talismans, but still was getting smoked with some bosses. Worked well against human like bosses, but yokai's are weaker to purity and they were giving me hard time. 6p Oya + 7p Izanagi worked better for me.

@@FlyBoysWareHouse that is because corruption builds are NOT suppose to be played in human form. the whole benefit of corruption is that when an enemy is corrupted, you gain 30% of stamina of an enemy. Why is that good you may ask? Yokai shift. Yokai shift the way it works is every amount of stamina you spend makes yokai shift last less. ALSO Corrupted weapons increase 30% of damage of yokai skills. Basically corrupted is suppose to be used for Yokai shift builds, NOT human builds. The set that your meant to use is Sarutahiko's Grace. The gimmick of Corruption builds is that Saorise has a specific weird mechanic where if you use guardian amulet for her special skill, it gives a 200% pleadas bonus. Basically this allows you with Ipons 2x to almost turbo charge yokai shift. Her downside is that she only has 20 attunement so in order to "scapegoat" her drawback, you go in yokai shift and then switch your guardian spirit to Baku who has among highest attunement limit in the game allowing you to put any cores you want. Now you can spam yokai shift as form of shield in term of hp though it is best to not get hit in first place but anyway. If you want to keep her Amirita[Anima] bonus, The Crime of Patricide is only set to have said bonus so paired both set would allow you to have best of both worlds. So the advantage of corruption builds is that they can spam Yokai cores much better than purity builds because they can charge all 3 cores at same time. the downside is that their durability is based off life-span of yokai shift meter and there are moments where you are in weak human form where you can die. That is where Purity builds are stronger. Purity builds are ALWAYS played in human form. They don't have 30% Ki and Stamina-leech mechanic but they have 50% Ki damage to compensate their inability spam cores. They have WAY better durability because of how life leech mechanic works in the game and Izanagi's Grace has cleansing prayer which stacks with Melee vs Purity for 60% damage boost. In that sense, purity builds don't really use yokai shift other than Yokai grapple mechanic so they kinda use it, lose the shift and than just go back to superior human form. TL"DR Use Purity if you play humans builds. Use yokai shift if you play corruption builds.

@@dodang_9147 Thanks for detailed feedback. Some stuff you mentioned i had no idea and definitely good to know. I do have corrupted yokai build (6p Saru + 7p Maga) as well which is pretty much built around the same things you mentioned, but still working on it. Therefore wanted to try corruption in human form in a meantime, but yeah its not performing as good as purity one. I actually gave a go to 6p Shinatsuhiko + 7p Izanagi and works really nice for me. That 30% extended enhancement status is amazing (+ i put on my accessories and have path of demon) for Cleansing prayer and other things. Went with refined Governor's armour to be around 360 A toughness and 12.3k defence while still maintaining weapon damage around 7-7.1k. Obviously if i get hit, it hit hard, but i am balancing it out with with ult con and super high life recovery.

Ame no uzume is a very fun grace and penance stone will increase rarity drops but be sure to max out your underworld merchant upgrades and also use ochoko cups for even more drop chances

Stone of Penance only increases the difficulty and the drop rate of higher rarity gear your damage is not affected

You don’t start getting any gear above divine until you get to dream of the wise. So if you’re only in dream of the strong you will only be able to get divine gear at the time. You must beat dream of the demon before going on to dream of the wise

It’s because I’ve used a book of reincarnation which refunds your Amrita and resets your stats…so all my other stats like my titles, my set bonuses, and equipment are all still maxed level…this video is only to show how I would distribute stats early game as a basis

Using the special effect “lucky drop equipped weapon” gives me an increased chance to drop the weapon I have equipped…if you want the smithing txt for those weapons try farming otakemaru or Shuten doji they have the highest drop rate of multiple smithing text
