Thanks so much!! Im actually thinking of switching to izanagi + oyamatsumi after watching ur video of comparing corruption vs purity! I think izanagi purity maybe better overall as i can get 30% purity accumulation and damage vs purified enemies from the grace alone?

@NewbieGamerz884 corruption has a higher damage output but purity in my opinion has much better utility so they both have pros and cons but yes iza is much easier to set up purely because you have many ways to inflict purity

Boss 1-5 change daily, boss 6-30 change everytime you enter the depths. If you find an impossible boss combo on the late stages, you can wait til the next day at the crucible shrine, the combo will most likely change

Great Video. one of your older videos sparked my return to NIOH2 last Sept and Today I just finished the 30th Floor of Depth of underworld and i can rest my controller in peace now :) .I used mainly Tonfa, Dual Sword and Sword in my entire run ( 2nd run) the levels from 21-30 sometimes aren't fair , on one occasion I had to face Eboshi , Tsuchigumo and Otakemaru , on another level i had to face Ancient Nyotengu , Lightning Gods of Yomi and Ren Habayusa. Oyamatsumi build is great if you want good HP , Omoikane's build if you are dealing with both Justu one sidenote , try to keep an eye your weapon damage output as one thing i noticed in most of my fights in both underworld and depth of underworld once i entered the boss fight i got my weapon damage output reduced . I had Tonfa with 6121 . however when i entered the boss fight , i see it as 5700. am not sure if this happens to you as well.

@jalandjohnson2165 best mission for level grinding in my opinion is Winds of Ruin in the afterglow region. Depending on difficulty you can rack up millions of Amrita. And if you want to get armor sets, you should do the dojo missions, or farm Shuten Doji and Otakemaru because they drop the most smithing text for forging

Forging seems like a waste at this level, but as I'm writing this i realize forging combined with lucky drop makes sense. Might make some gear when I get home

Legit just try and speedrun to Dream of Nioh (while levelling your character and equipment as much as possible). I made the mistake of trying to 100% and by Wise I was kinda bored but at Nioh with the addition of the Underworld and new mechanics and even enemies I now play this more than any other game. Do not be afraid to try out new weapons. Make sure to get a Wooden versions of each weapon and max + them because they add 80-90% proficiency gain. This will allow you to make sure if you ever get bored you can switch up your playstyle and feel like you are playing an entirely new game. Look up a guide to find all the hidden boss skills for weapons to give you more options. Most important of all at a certain point winning is not important (well, as much) since style and flow-state becomes the most rewarding feeling more than just passing forward.

@@lilgunna4417 Same here. in same ways I like Sekiro more but Sekiro is something I only fully enjoyed playing twice. The fact I went through so much of the Underworld and am still. returning to it is something special. I play a lotta other games from many different genres but Nioh 2 is something I doubt I will ever uninstall

Thanks for a good review. There are some omissions here though: Scrolls of the Damned should have been mentioned here. Especially while explaining purple enemies. They drop it a lot. Upgrading blessings using lapis lazula is important for depths. Attack blessing is the most important overall. Defence is not much except for full depths specific tank builds. Also healing blessing is important for Grace of Oyamatsumi depth 6+ specific gracem. Grace of Oyamatsumi should have been explained in detail since all depths specific builds use it for not getting one shotted.

Played nioh 2 and all depths and underworld as it was releasing. Best game ever. Missed it so much that I recently restarted a new char to re-experience it. I think for depths it was every week the boss changes, I seem to recall I had the same boss the next day. Damn you Yomi! I hate youuuuuu.

Much appreciated! And Scroll transference works to raise the recommended mission levels for only scrolls of the same type to a max recommended mission level allowed for the type. So scrolls of the Nioh for scrolls of the Nioh and so on

Much appreciated 🙏🏼! And no haven’t but it’s a cut a dry explanation…bladed weapons such as sword, odachi, claws etc they do more melee damage/health damage and blunt weapons, tonfa, fists, hammer, splitstaff they do more ki damage

Depths are no joke. Lightning gods as 2 boss on floor 12 wiped me 13 times in a row. I got through floor 10 just fine but the bosses have a lit of health and the double bosses too.

im on ps5 my i'd is carlodgior and i'm farming accessories and in can't get it dephs of underworld i need the 20% corrupted damage 20 damage on enemy without ki and sloth on magic hit

That’s completely RNG based you have to keep farming the specific stage for what ever Grace you’re trying to get…the best way to get accessories to drop is by tempering lucky drop accessory on the accessory you want to use and just replaying stages over and over until they drop with the rolls you want

If you thinking “seems I can try it” it just “seems” 😂 On floor 11 my 5 tries was not longer than 20 seconds because boss just did one-shot me with any random move 😢😂

The double boss fights is where i noticed a big jump. As far as the game goes in noticed a difficulty spike in dream of the demon, dream of the nioh, and floor 11 depths, I imagine I'll notice another difficulty spike on floor 21 if I ever make it there.
