Megan seems mentally disurbed. She hated Amy for existing and making up some imagery slights that she claims Amy committed. If she didn't spend so much time trying to tear down Amy, she could've been successful on her own merits. But she went off the rails to the point she ruined her own life.

Stepmother was a domineering,controlling,heartless,batshit crazy bitch.Pregnancy and hormones do not excuse her illogical and unreasonable belief that OP was responsible for her miscarriage.Karma can sometimes extract a terrible price.But the biggest villain of the piece was the father because he should have put his foot down when new wife started throwing out memorabilia of his deceased wife.Such a spineless wimp.Demanding an apology from someone for something that is absolutely not their fault is unacceptable.The story doesnt say whether OP actually did apologise-but i hope she did not.

Forgiveness should still happen regardless. This does not mean trust has to be mended, but it's the best way to recover from your own pain of betrayal. The same goes for apologizing, as it releases your own agony.

David: B-but, we're family David, where was this family you speak of when Diana's stuff was being taken from her? When anything of her late mother was taken out of the house? When Diana was being mistreated by Carol? When Diana was bullied? When you repeatedly did nothing when Diana came to you for help? And finally, when Carol blamed Diana for a miscarriage and you tried to make her apologize to "keep the peace"? David and Carol only care about themselves and people like that don't deserve reconciliation.

The boy who cried "wolf" or the mother who cried "pain" - it is so grat to make people do your bidding, UNTIL you overdo it and it ends horribly for that needy person. Mothers boy is unable to fight for his new family and sticks to his toxic mother. The job and the need to provide is also a marriage killer, set your prioities "wrong" and the family crumbles into nothing... Talk AND Listen before it is too late! There are promises to keep, if you utter your marriage vows.

Wow as bad as Diana’s stepmom is her father is worse. How could he marry someone that hates his child. It was so obvious that she hated his child and any reminder that he was married before. What a terrible family and father. A father that even at the reading of the will still only asked about himself.
@CodyJMinor0620Күн бұрын
Carol, I hope you read this. Diana is not and never will be responsible for your miscarriage. Miscarriages happen, and blaming another human being is not just irrational when no injury or ill intent is evidently apparent, its despicable and disgustingly inhumane.

Later Diana’s dad and step we’re fighting every day blaming each other. Everyday he blames her that he won’t see his grandkids anymore because of her manipulation on his daughter and sign divorce papers and told her you’d be on your own while he let her rot on her own misery. The stepmom was depressed all alone she didn’t pay her rent that caused her to kick her out of the house and living in the streets she try to reach for Diana but she didn’t want to she cut all ties with her she ended up getting hit by a bus that let her confined in a wheelchair. She’s in a homeless shelter being miss treated every day and crying every day while the father miserable knowing he won’t see his grandkids anymore.

If that were me, I would pretend to do as she said but not before informing my partner first about she'd done and then planned the next move. I'll have recorded the exchange and then reported to the police with the evidence.

Okay, I get that even under the best of circumstances, stepparents and step kids aren't going to be the best of best friends At the same time,the stepmother is the adult and has a social and moral obligation to act like one. Which she has failed to do

Forgiveness is not for those that did the wrong. Forgiveness is for the one who was wronged so they can move forward and not blame themselves and gaslight themselves/ or by others, that wrong was deserved. Telling people to forgive someone who hurt them, telling them to get other it or turn the other cheek down plays the hurt. Minimising it to gaslight and manipulate the person who was wronged into believing the hurt is justified. Opening the door to be hurt again.

Linda, how dare you you barely known as her stepmother she didn’t realize her father got remarried and you have the audacity to tell her she hast to marry a man who’s over 20 years old and are the save her father‘s business. What on earth is wrong with you. I’m glad she prove a kind of a manipulator you are. She told you know every time you brought it up and you still set up a wedding. I hope the man sues you for marriage fraud. You told him he was going to get married to a young woman and she wanted no part of it. Arrange marriages are not a thing anymore. And if it’s still around and this is still not too far in the future, he should sue you for marriage fraud.
