Hi, I have a silly question that I cannot find explained anywhere. What are "deals" ? Are they quotes or projects? I'm not sure what this platform does... is it a simplified project management system ? Thank you :)

Hello. This is a CRM. Deals are opportunities that you have to sell your products or services. For example, someone wants to buy your products, but it's not clear how much they will buy yet. You can create a Deal to track everything about the potential sale. You can send one or multiple quotes and attach them to the Deal so all the information is in the same place. You can add notes and track other information. This is not a project management system, but you could use it as one.

Hi. How well does Bigin integrate with Outlook 365? I am just looking for a contact manager that integrates tightly with Outlook 365 where I can pull up a contact and see all interactions that I have had with that contact either by emails, appts, tasks & notes. Does the Outlook 365 integration allow me to bring all my contacts and emails from Outlook into Bigin? Thanks!

SalesInbox is the email client for the salespeople that works with Zoho CRM. Whereas Zoho Mail is the general email client, like Gmail and Outlook. You can use Zoho Mail to host your email ([email protected]), and if you have some users that are salespeople, they can also set up Zoho SalesInbox to access the "sales" features.

Hi @americanstraitjacket. To share a note with someone who is not part of your organization, open the note and click on the 'Share' icon in the options at the bottom. Then, select 'Public Shareable Link'. You can set an expiration date for the link and send it via email or copy the link and send it directly.

All the inputs for me are coming null when I look in the logs which means that function is definitely getting triggered. But none of the values are getting passed correctly. In my case I want to do something when a lead is modified. I have tried input.id, input.lead_id, input.leadId ... all are null ... have also added them as arguments

To get the lead info, you can use this code: lead_info = zoho.crm.getRecordById("Leads",lead_id); info lead_info; A variable can't use periods. If this doesn't work, you can replace "lead_id" with the actual lead ID which looks like this: 4485029000024955001. If you are still not getting any values, you should contact Zoho Support.

Could you feed this data into the profile of a user based on certain parameters? For example, we have Google add budgets for each of our clients and I want that budget to show up in their profile but also be easily editable from month to month as budgets change.

You can create a Client Profile table and a Budget table, and then link them together with Smart Relationships. Great video. I am a newbie to Zoho. I'm wondering if you can answer this question for me because I was lost on the functionality of why you would do what you did. Here's what I'm trying to do. We are in the construction industry and we work with new construction projects which in Zoho we have labeled opportunities. Previously we associated an account name with those opportunities. If we had more than one account associated with an opportunities, we created a duplicate opportunity. As we reviewed moving our information to Zoho, their tech told us that we could have one opportunity and a multi select look up field that would allow us to create a field that stored multiple account names. What I'm finding is that the multi select look up field does not show up when creating a new opportunity or when trying to import opportunities from our previous CRM (via CSV). It shows up in settings under the standard layout, but nowhere else. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help. Cheers

I'm glad you liked the video. Unfortunately, there's no easy answer on what you are doing wrong. It depends on how the data is organized on the spreadsheet/csv file you got from your legacy system. And based on what you said about duplicating Opportunities, it looks like each Account was associated to only 1 Opportunity. You will have to do a lot of prep work if this is the case. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but like I said, it depends a lot on the data you exported from your previous system/CRM. Here's a Zoho tutorial that might set you in the right direction, but keep in mind that there are other ways to import and link the data: help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/import-data-into-multi-select-lookup-field-from-csv-excel Regarding the lookup field not showing when manually creating an Opportunity, the field should be there. If you can't see it, you should contact Zoho Support. The field won't show on the import Opportunity window because it's part of the linking module explained on this video.

Hello Jason, I am having an issue when trying to follow this automation. When I move the test deal into the stage where I wish the SMS to be sent I am seeing on the timeline that the webhook is being invoked. However when I check the message history for SMS Magic it shows an error message for the message and it is not being sent. Any suggestions?

Yes, you should be able to supervisa all accounts and run all work through Zoho One, but before signing up I would contact Zoho Support and explain what you are looking to do. They will be able to confirm if what you want to do is possible.

Whoa! That was a clear ZOHO One presentation! Thank you for being direct and concise. ZOHO is confusing, but you made it much easier to comprehend. I want to build a master database. I was planning to use Excel or similar. If possible, does CSR do it or another ZOHO application?

Glad it was helpful! You can use Zoho Sheets if you want to create the database on a spreadsheet, but the best approach is to use Zoho Creator, which will require you to learn how to use it and how to code using Deluge. www.zoho.com/creator/online-database-software.html

The user ID and PW should be the same and extend to support and the community because I have questions and suggestions. I looked around, and there seriously needs to be a detailed explanation and tour of the ZOHO One portal sign-up, widgets, pins, and navigation along the left side. The Getting Started tab, and everything else on that page are CONFUSING!!! Add this as a loss leader so people can view and purchase your course. For a multi-user lookup, it's a bit more difficult to do. First, you have to get all the users, then, with a "for each" you can get the user ID, and create the task for each user. Zoho Support can help you create the function.

Please help me with this. Im starting to use Zoho WorkDrive and I have found each time I save a document, Zoho saves a new copy but also saves the old version. Both versions are the full document, so if you have save the document three times the storage used will be around three times the data. Additionally, you have to erase one by one the versions. How do you manage this? Has been an inconvenient for you?

Can you share a link with a screenshot of the issue? Is Zoho WorkDrive duplicating the files? What do you mean by "saving documents"? Uploading a documents? The feature "versions" cannot be disabled.

WorkDrive saves a copy everytime you save a document (it is called versions). It is used when you want to go back to a previous version of the document. However each version takes a lot of storage. If you look in the properties of a document you find the tab where are all the versions stored @@blungo
