I played as a trial player for years till recently and it was kinda crazy, how much I needed to do. Therefore when I tried to sell some, for me useless, resources I made to level up a crafter, it didn't take a long time to sell.

First of all, shout out to Cunningham's Law and all the other commenters. I just want to add that in DT Purple Scrips will be come the new White Scrips. So anything you can craft now, if you turn it in during DT it will just give you Purple Scrips and reduced XP (1k). IMO you're better off not bothering with stocking up on collectables, just do your weekly custom deliveries and don't spend the scrips for a couple weeks leading up to DT. There will also be an exchange to turn old White scrips into Purple scips (not at a good rate). I would also suggest you make sure you have unlocked/completed all existing CDs so you can get the bonuses from all of them going into DT, if you haven't already (and the consumes/materia stuff he mentioned ofc).

I spent all my post endwalker taking a break. Turns out I didn’t even unlock heavensward to endwalker raids and trials. I recently just unlocked eureka 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ I guess I have a lot of grinding to do while working on my finals assignments and studying . . . . I should be fine I’m mid 90% on all my classes lol. J/K I’ll catch up on the next expansion.

I want to get as much out of the free account as I can before I can upgrade. I have been having a challenge with bag and armory space. It seems like the most efficient way for a free player to level alt jobs is to level them all at the same time, that way we can sell old gear once all classes have reached a certain level. It also helps us know which farmed mats we should keep or sell. If we have all of our jobs at the same level, then we should be getting loot as we need it.

where exactly do I get the mounts? I have all the weapons and minions but I don't have the mounts

Yeah there will be major Healer shortages in DT but even tanks and Healers are going to do their Daily's at the start to get a little boost so they don't end up with that half level bar that usually comes around the level 93 mark

I came to get a simple explanation on how to assign a modifier key to the third hotbar and get a lecture as to why it is more comfortable to have modifier keys..... sorry, am somewhat frustrated that you could not get straight to the point, show us HOW it is done, then talk about why it is so awesome and what benefits it has.

The only thing that's wrong here is when you complain about people constantly undercutting on high demand. Buy-resellers negate this if the item is truly in high demand and you're selling just a bit below the standard price as your server will eventually become a low cost server and people will buy up everyone's stuff from your server very quickly. The problem is crafters don't practice diversity with their sales on patch days. Don't make 20 chestpieces of fending and hope to sell them - and don't make pieces of crafted gear aren't BiS over normal raid gear (sometimes (normal) raid gear is better than crafted). Make as many things you can and put them up separately. If you have 40 items that are in high demand at standard price, you'll sell a couple an hour so then you just replenish what you sell. Do not sit at the marketboard adjusting your price every 2 minutes - do that like every 8 hours or so. Anything more than that is a waste of time. This is actually why furniture is so expensive. It's not because they're hard to make...it's because there's so many of them that people spread the quantity thin which drives the price up.

Very neat concept, however I have my own method for dealing with ability clutter. I do use R, F, T, G for some abilities but most of those buttons have class resource related abilities on them (Shelton for instance). I do have another method on top of those 4 keys. For combo type abilities, I place them on multiple hotbars and have macros for each of them. So for Paladin, fast blade is always on 1 for all hotbars, riot blade 2 is on hotbar 1 and royal authority is 2 on hotbar 3 (since 2 is where I have my buffs for instance) and my Paladin attack spells are on hotbar 4 I have macros for each combo ability so fast blade always brings me to hotbar 1, and riot blade will bring me to hotbar 3 and royal authority will bring me to hotbar 4 for my Paladin spells. Fast blade is always on 1 to bring me back to hotbar 1 and restart the combo. Granted this method isn’t perfect. It takes lots of space in my macros to macro each ability but this is what has worked for me so far.

My benchmark results: 9330 (High results) Maxed everything possible and used the NVIDIA overlay to get a rough idea of FPS. Averaging about high 50's in high character areas. Spells and everything else going off I got about high 60s to low 70s in certain points of the benchmark. Most likely will average around 50s at all times. Desktop: R5 5600X 32GB RAM RTX 3060 (8GB version) 1TB NVMe drive.

Since you mentioned you were sure it would come back, it will but it will be a year or two. This has been around at least twice before though the couch was only available the last time. The medals also carry over. When the last one came I had 13 weapons and all 17 yokai. I had medals for 3 more weapons but missed the deadline. I was able to buy 3 more weapons immediately.

When talking about resses and using swiftcast, i think it would have been good to explain why red mages are dubbed ress mages (every second of their spells is automatically a swiftcast) and how to apply that to ressing.

tscmaa is not new, but it's very good at color and edge smoothing, it's a mix between CMAA and TAA for frame color and frame depth, CMAA takes a rendered color frame as an input and updates the frame with spatially anti-aliased edge pixels by processing edge candidates (any shape and Z-shape edges). To identify such edge candidates, edge detection uses the luminance difference in color with a given edge threshold. In TSCMAA, a default edge threshold value is 0.045f (1.f/22.f) based on experiments with our sample scene, but it can be adjusted for other scenes as a quality versus performance knob.. Temporal Anti-Aliasing or TAA works to reduce temporal aliasing such as shimmering or crawling caused by the motion between frames, TAA blends a current pixel with a history pixel. Then the output of TAA becomes a history frame for the next TAA frame in a feedback loop. In VR, TAA is more crucial due to quite a bit of jitter from head pose changes over time, resulting in rendered frames always containing motion in a head-mounted display (HMD). TSCMAA takes care of both spatial and temporal aliasing by combining CMAA and TAA, and major benefits arise because TSCMAA runs only for edge pixels, resulting in faster pixels that are less blurred overall, compared to the results of other TAA algorithms.

it's so weird to me that Trusts > duty support, you'd think duty support would at least have more drops or only drop gear for the job you enter as, but once you unlock trusts, duty support is just there for the extra voicelines.

3:00 I will also say that when it comes to raid gear.... every group I've been in either doesn't care about the gear, because the gear you get from the normal modes of the raids up till that point is sufficient to proceed at the pace we need (though I've never been in a high end group that's making it to the second phase of the fourth floor in the first week or two) and we also have people on the team who have been willing to craft select items for team members if there's an item that we might want, and know it'll be a while before we can get the replacement. So at least from my own perspective, there's only a limited market for this raid gear, and that market very quickly dries up as the more hardcore raiders need that gear within just the first couple days, and anyone after that is more casual. They might not get it for a few weeks when prices drop if they buy it at all.
