My personal item bag needs to carry medications. I also need to carry a nebulizer for respiratory treatments. I was able to get a smaller, portable nebulizer machine that takes up less room. I recently saw a great ID tag that reads medical equipment that can help when going through customs. One quick tip: check with your doctor to see if some of your meds cannot go through the x-ray scanning machine. I went through customs last year and they understood and handled things well, listened, and helped allay my fears. I also pack a change if clothes in case my checked bag gets lost. Do you have any other advice for people traveling with medicine and medical equipment? Thank you.

I don’t understand why folks claim packing for a week is different than packing for a month or more. You can’t take everything you’re going to need either way unless you’re traveling heavy. I pack for carry on one bag travel the same either way. A week long trip just means I do laundry fewer times if at all. 🤷🏼‍♂️ …and I use a few packing cubes to make sure my clothes stay together and organized and have room for some souvenirs.
