Feel like ppl who buy brands from people like Matilda and maybe don’t have a clue about fashion AT ALL. Bare minimum is seeing what the fabric is

i love wearing charms that mean something to me. my boyfriend got me a beanie baby in one of our first dates and i have been wearing it on my bags everyday since then. i find the concept of mindlessly buying some charms on the internet only to fulfill this trend pointless and very childish lol

the last one made me giggle a bit because i 100% see the trend cycle moving towards kitten heels for the new year as it already did in 2024 but personally, i’m taking this as my opportunity to now get the high heels i couldn’t wear/afford as a child and they’ll actually be available since everyone is getting kitten heels. for some reason i could never let go of the desire for 2013 charlotte russe pumps

You can trace "Modularity" much earlier than Computer Science, to Le Corbusier an Architect and City Planner who wrote about the concept he called Le Modular in the 1920s.

Ironically i got depression so now i don't spend in fashion anything, very sustainable and cheap:)) But i am still a sucher for fashion, for textures, art, shapes, and it's evolution and how it is influenced so on Love the video

Okay, when it comes to sneakers, its kind of always been either nike or ads, they flip flop. I'm in my mid 30's, I've worn both, at the end of the day filter out the trend noise and go with what you like. A rule I try to stick to (with any shopping) is give it a month, maybe two maybe three, if you still want it and you can wear it multiple ways, then make the purchase. That plus thrift above all! Fashion, we love her, but alas, she is killing our rock of paradise floating in space.

Socialmedia has created so many fashion microtrends which makes one feel like you cant were stuff thats "out of style" but the fact is that clothing will exist on this planet way longer than a trend lasts and even though people bye alot of fast fashion no ordinary person can keep up with only wearing the current micro trend. I feel like this video is such a good reminder of that. Fashion girlies will cringe over people wearing skinny jeans, acting like the resonable thing is to throw away perfectly good clothing.

While I agree with the concept of this video I don’t agree with any of the comparisons… trends such as leopard print, bonnets and adidas sneakers are trends I am eager to participate in this spring, but I have never worn Nike sneakers, bucket hats nor checkered pants… the styles that you are describing in past tense belong to different sub cultures than the current trends imo
