Actually we use the bidet AFTER the toilet paper just o be fresh and clean "down there", and YES the small towel on on the bidet is exclusively used to dry "down there" (every single person has its own ofc).

The best type to use with your toilet is a hand held bidet attachment with a long extension. Just a twist of the wrist to aim instead of having to move around. You don't need a fancy expensive seat bidet with heated seat and water because unheated tap water is not shocking to the body like standing under a cold water shower is.

As a central italy living i can say something here is different. The post offices are quite better than that. Life is not so slow as in south of italy. In Korea, I used to use Korean electric bidet that only cleanses my anus with warm water and its water pressure is adjusted to a powerful one to wash poops off easily. I spend mostly 1 to 2 minute to clean them off. However, I often feel a need to shower my anus to perfectly clean my hip and anus. Sometimes when you get diarrhea it messes my hip and splashes poops around the hip and it smells bad. I think we need bidet with soap to clean hips with poops. Most of times when i have diarrhea, i get a shower

As a fat man it’s hard to use bidet, even with spray hose. I found that my physical ability become harder to stand up - while bending- due to my weight. And, because of my large belly it’s hard to get my left hand to reach the rear whilst cleansing.

Here in Turkey we have this useful function integrated to the toilet bowel. Our European friends are not approving this because of hygienic reasons. How ever there is an other solution which is sold in online market as "Butt Shower" It is really very convenient for cleaning up.
