@@jakesimpson8952 probably not as much as you'd think, though. 267.5 kg is a TON of weight. Well, not literally, but he had trained since an early age and he was training hard, fast, and explosively, meaning he gained a lot of strength very quickly. I think the best he could've achieved natty would've been like 275 kg. That's excellent, much better than most can ever achieve, but it's not the insanity that some people would think he'd be capable of. A good sign that he had gained his strength about as fast as he possible could've, other than his young age then, is the injuries he suffered as a result. That's why it's usually better to take it a little more slowly on the strength front while building up muscle mass, and adapting your tendons and CNS to the stress.

first video was uploaded jun 9th 2012, 2nd was uploaded jan 21st 2021. so 8 1/2 years elapsed between those two. i assume you started taking gear around late 2014 - early 2015. maybe after going to junior euro championships or Training in Poland. i say so not only because your squat went up quite a lot, but because; from a video uploaded Jan 22, 2015, you weighed 95kg, and on a video uploaded Mar 8, 2015, you gained 5kg to weigh 100kg. your hair also got noticably thinner from early 2014 to early 2015. overall i appreciate and admire your honesty for being open about the realitys of PED in this sport. no one can knock you for that. i certainly cant, knowing that you were stronger as a 18 year old kid than i was when i took P.E.Ds it aint braggin if you can do it

@@mysteretsym It's pretty variable I think. I took 5g a day for years and when I stopped I didn't notice a difference. That's partly why I don't take it anymore, what with the massive price hikes in the UK. @@mysteretsym Quick question. Does creatine make your body "stressed"? Does it have a stimulating effect, like with stimulant drugs? I got fooled into believing adhd and the drug fucked up my nervous system, so I'm getting back into working out for real to relax it (and of course to make gains), but naturally I don't want to stimulate/stress my body again. With most people it's a little hard to tell how much of a boost they got from gear since there could be any number of factors that affected their lifts. Maybe their training sucked, maybe their diet never changed, maybe they didn't try hard enough, etc. But since Clarence is clearly a guy who has maxed out on genetics, technique, experience and effort, and made intelligent steps to get better in every factor, and on top of that he trained for a long ass time before using gear - he poses an excellent subject example for how much gear can improve your numbers. I believe Clarence's top single for a squat is 306kgs? So in other words, gear made him around 15% stronger. A significant number for sure (and maybe a little woolly still) but not as much as some people seem to think. In other words, steroids won't fix a weak mindset.

@christopherroberts2500
@christopherroberts2500 Жыл бұрын
@@xThirdOpsx Both wrong. 310kg is his max PAUSE squat. In his own words, he's 'never maxed out his regular squat.' My best pause backsquat is a little under 90% of my touch and go. Applying similar logic to Clarence, his regular squat could easily be as high as 330+. That'd mean well over 20% strength gains from gear usage, which I think everyone could say is pretty significant at already big numbers.

@christopherroberts2500
@christopherroberts2500 Жыл бұрын
@Jaofwg 10 reps is pretty unreliable for calculation. I've hit 180kg for 10 on the backsquat, which estimates my max as 240kg. My tested max is only 227kg. At the very least, I'd say Clarence is hitting at least 10% more than his best pause backsquat, which would be in the region of 340-345kg, with sleeves and a belt. As you say, that's still probably in the realm of 30% more from gear usage and basic equipment.

In all seriousness though, you both raise good points, while it is definitely interesting to speculate about what a particular person could be taking, whether they’re taking something and what they are taking/have taken isn’t anybody’s business but their own unless they decide otherwise. Clarence was an absolute god natty, he has an incredible proficiency for weightlifting and has just about mastered multiple incredible difficult exercises. That’s what’s really impressive, sure, his numbers are too, almost unbelievably so, the weights don’t even look real, it's just so hard to believe. Didn't know there was a video like this too. Very fridge like numbers as natty. The enhancement brought in that leaking pneumatic valve sound, probably for all the pneumatic cylinders and jacks installed. Feels like living in Deus Ex.

Weren’t you like 18 or 19 when you squatted that first squat? It’s not just natural vs enhanced, it’s also the timeframe in which you made progress.
@thicccboyztv
@thicccboyztv Жыл бұрын
Progress under enhancement is enhanced. Which is why people now who say they are currently natty, like rubish, technically aren't. They got their new prs and numbers while enhanced and once you've learned a skill the first time it is easier to regain. So if you've accelerated training years and volume while enhanced, even if you are currently natty your numbers are not natural.
