Had a 70 malibu in 77 with a 350 2 barrel and a 3 on the tree i bought for 100.00 from a customer when i was a mechanic in Rochester mn. I was 21 years old and it was my first race car project. I put a LS6 454 with a turbo 400 and 4.56 gears in it and ran 12.50's off the trailer, re-cammed it and installed a HEI distributor and ran 12.20's with a 3500 lb car!
