Does it make a difference in taste if I use lemon juice instead of nigari?

Perfect burger rolls! Soft with a bit of bounce. I mixed all the dry ingredients, then halved it, saving half in a container for later and making 8 buns for tonight's sweet potato burgers. 🙂 Thanks for this great recipe that just made the best burger buns I've ever made. 🤗

I had no premium coconut oil left so used grape seed oil instead.

Your video is by far the best. I'm gonna get some nigari ASAP. Next step: tempeh from your video ❤

Tempeh is great. This is a good recipe but don’t use plastic to ferment. The plastic will break down into your food.

Thank you! This was the first dahl that my family actually liked. (Even though I messed up and added Bay Leaves instead of Curry Leaves, had only powdered ginger and no fresh corriander).

What a miracle! Thank you! And do you think it is possible to prepare the tempeh without heat reversal, i.e. skip the heating.

I really appreciate and admire people who makes content about things they love especially food. I used to work in profesional kitchen, different international establishments and I went to Culinary school back in my college years. What is important for me is that often food recipes, like yours, are helping me to reconnect to my tradition and to remind me about childhood memories that I sometimes forget. I'm 51 and I've spent more than 22 years living outside my homecountry, so I need to keep the food tradition and the culture in the family. People like you have made that possible. So thank you so much. Keep up the good work, have fun and I hope you realize how much your contents have been inspirational to many people.

Hi Elliz I know that you are concentrating on food, but i have a question not related to food i like those dresses that you are wearing please tell me if i can buy them online
@TheKampungVeganАй бұрын
Hi there, thank you! This dress I'm wearing here is from Arnhem Clothing. The rest of my wardrobe are pieces from Spell Designs, Self Portrait, Zimmermann. You can buy all of these brands online! I also wear my own designs. If you're looking for clothing of similar vibes you can also check out Free People or Anthropologie. Hope this was helpful! 💕

I’m a home baker and want to try this recipe. For the yeast, 4 grams of instant yeast is about 1 1/3 teaspoons. This can only ferment overnight with that amount of yeast. To do same day more yeast is needed without using the overnight in the fridge.

Hi - I made tempeh many times from your recipe. It is unbelievably delicious - nothing like what you buy in the store. I cannot wait to try your tofu recipe. Base on my experience with your recipes, I bet this recipe is outstanding! Thanks for sharing 🥰

I used to make it everyday for shops all over Manchester and Liverpool an Leeds....Trays and Trays sometimes 48 trays taking me 12 hours.....hard to keep up with everything that goes on all at once....Loved making it.
