Ah, security theater... Why can't USA and Canada have common-sense gun laws? I.e. give a reason to have guns (e.g. collecting), pass psych evaluation, pass basic medical to check the hand-eye coordination, pass background check, pass exam testing your safety-wise gun discipline and ability of shooting reasonably accurately, get a license ("shall issue" after passing all those tests), get safe gun storage (lockable gun safe), go buy guns and register them. Who cares what is the "style" of the gun? How "aggressively" it looks? Gun is a gun is a gun! And magazine capacity limits? Big ones are not really practical but are FUN on the range. Some statements/comments from this video (and others like it), that I cannot understand the relevance of: - NOT keeping the spent cartridges. This to me would only make sense in a clandestine operation outside the purview of the public, and that occurred in a public space, along with the ubiquitous surveillance in public spaces such a downtown areas of cities like NY. AND; this person, Luigi, went out of his was to markup the casings with politics statements (obviously) intended for people to see. Ceteris Paribus; unless these spent casing have any type of distinctive signature that would lead investigators to the gun used, then leaving spent casing behind would not seem to be a mistake or error. Also, if this gun cannot be traced to its USER, then casings would be useless to law enforcement. A stolen gun, a home-made gun, would obviously not be registered to the person using it. If I'm missing something here, then please explain. I can't see how spent casings would be significant to an assassin UNLESS his mission was to be a completely covert operation. Much like LE who pick locks to enter a suspects home (like in high profile criminal investigations of powerful organized crime gangs like the Mafia) rather than using a battering ram. IIRC, the rifling of a gun; the groves inside the barrel that help the bullet spin for a more accurate shot, can be distinctive to professionals who know their stuff, but spent cases; I can't see how these would be significant to LE.d Please let me know if I'm missing anything.

😢I grew up and lived in one of the most violent cities in Canada. With that being said,I have never considered owning and/or carrying a weapon of any kind to defend myself. Even in real perilous situations, it is preposterous to believe that pulling a gun out of your belt and firing paniced rounds at the threat is not just cowardly but dangerous to everybody around the shooter. Pay attention to how these "acts of self defense" actually go down. Children,women,and innocent bystanders are gunned down daily in the excited states of America because of reckless and untrained big shots who are scared of their own shadows. It's lunacy at best. Here's a tip to folks who think that they're hero material. Don't believe your own hype,stay away from crazy mother fuckers,and practice the Christian faith many of you claim to have and defend.

They should ban them all, there is no reason to own a firearm for 99% of Canadians. If you are actually a subsistence hunter or fall under indigenous exceptions, fair enough, you should be exempted. Hunting absolutely does not need semi-automatic firearms.
