What are your thoughts on navy seal burpees, and do you think they build muscle?
@AP1million50 минут бұрын
hello mr boges, thanks to your channel I have added in push, pull, squats, and horse stance into my life and have never felt better and maintained an exercise routine better than this in my life. I spend a lot of time learning how to code nowadays, and every 45-60 minutes of sitting down I do a rotation of exercises; after 6-8 hours of studying + morning and before sleep rotations it really adds up! I can't express how thankful I am for how you taught me a routine that I can actually be consistent and motivated with. I also have a slightly unrelated question to ask, do you apply sunscreen whenever doing workouts out in the sun? 😂 ive been doing these outside at various time throughout the day and have noticed a bit of sunburn, especially on the back of my neck. just wondering how you keep your skin tone so balanced. thanks again for your work!

I might've missed something, but you said every day. Do you mean doing this volume work 7 days a week?

It always amazes me how every bit of advice that he gives sounds so perfectly logical that you're almost drawn to accept it instantly. And also, his eloquence is up to par with his logic. I love it!

great point about doubling volume - I have the tendancy to just repeat my 'go to' session. and if its more frequency a week, then its more. then i am more tired, and think to myself. this is hard then the next week i am like, last week was hard, lets take it easier. then yoyoing between this.
@Kboges6 сағат бұрын
Totally. Yeah you just have to keep and eye on weekly volume then it all makes sense.
@purpp56108 сағат бұрын
Worked incredibly. In 6 weeks I went from 8 sloppy neutral chins to 12 strict, clean pronated pullups (which I always struggled with). Think I'll start adding weight now but if I continued for another 6 I think 15/16 would be entirely reasonable
@Kboges7 сағат бұрын
Well done! Run it another 6 weeks and see how it does! Thanks for sharing!

Great Video as allways! Could you tell me what kind of protocol you are doing in this video. Looks like your doing a ladder of weighted pull ups. Are you resting in between or doing a different exercise? I love the high frequency concept and to focus on ,mastering the basics with low intensity, but I would like to occasionally add some low rep high intensity reps in order to improve my strength. Thank you!

So, how many hours do you walk a day to be like that? 16? Jaja (as you said in other video) doing only 20-30minutes a day of zone 2 won’t get you that low body fat! Even an hour won’t get you like that! So then how many? 8, 9, 16? Jaja

Can you create longer videos? i really like listening to you, and i feel the 3 mins videos are short
@KbogesКүн бұрын
Ahh thanks man! I have some longer form videos on the subscription service but for KZbin I really like to keep them short because of the average viewer; they just won’t watch much and KZbin really punishes me for that. I don’t get any money from KZbin, but I still want the videos to get a wide reach and make a positive impact, and I’ve found that shorter videos do better for that purpose than the longer ones. But maybe I’ll release a few more in the future 🙏

I have a question regarding your progamm @Kboges I dont like taking days off of training, really. Maybe have one full day of recovery per week, maximum. But can you run this programm on consecutive days aswell? Or does it only work on non-consecutive days? Also, does it work on consecutive days when i do the same program for pull ups, push ups and pistols together? Like: (day 1) 3 sets max for push ups, pull ups and pistols (Day2) 10 sets sub max for push ups, pull ups and pistols (Day3) 5 ladders for push ups, pull ups and pistols I would do push ups for example first and then have a 10 min rest to go on to the next excercise and so on. Or would that be too much stress for the body, doing all of that on consecutive days? Very interested in your answer!

Hi Kyle! Your tips on rest/recovery for strained brachioradialis from pulling movements and reverse curls?
@Kboges6 сағат бұрын
Hmm. Rest it and try variations that’s don’t irritate it. After the pain has subsided you can slowly introduce the variations that irritated it, just do so very slowly and cautiously.

I really wonder, as a bio hacker like you, what do you think about religion like islam ?
@Kboges6 сағат бұрын
Hmm… I wouldn’t consider myself a bio hacker; I really love science but I’m more interested in looking at it as a tool to simplify our lives instead of complicate it. So, it’s a little bit different approach than most biohackers who are looking to optimize everything they can. As for Islam, it is not a subject I know ANYTHING about. I have some very good friends who are Muslim, but it don’t know anything about the faith itself.

They blame it on your mind when you call them out on their crime so that their crime can be covered. Let others focus on him so that they forgot our crime. Their success is to focus on you and not on themselves and they go around preaching to work on oneself, what irony. They excel in constantly finding problems in every single thing you do, their intention is clear in smearing you. There are facts and evidence all over the place, they can twist the fact but deep down they know.

How about one set of everything as many as you can everyday ?
@Kboges6 сағат бұрын
That can work for some people, but I think most people will have better results long terms from staying a few reps off failure and getting in some more practice if they can. I think, in many contexts, failure is needlessly fatiguing. It can serve as a good insurance policy, but it definitely isn’t necessary.
@Gmod2012lo1Күн бұрын
Once you make your workout a daily routine, then you will not need any willpower and strong motivation. You just do it. When I feel like procrastinating I just remember how much work and sweat was put into it already, it would be a shame to quit and fall off.

Hmmm so high rep bodyweight squats can develop good muscle hypertrophy interesting I think I’m going to try this out in my own routine
@KbogesКүн бұрын
Potentially, but I wouldn’t recommend them for that purpose. I would consider them a top tier leg conditioning exercise with some potential hypertrophy benefits, but barbell squats would be much more efficient as a tool for gaining size.
@owenwright4927Күн бұрын
@@Kboges ah I see personally I’ve been sustaining a lot of pain and fatigue in my legs when doing weighted squats I saw bodyweight squats as an alternative to potentially build that work capacity and potential muscle building properties you’ve spoken about an adequate amount of muscle is what I’m chasing since I do martial arts a good control over your body through Calisthenics has been proven very useful for martial arts appreciate the response
