Every single time I'm out in public, I love approaching as many people as possible. I can have conversations for 10-20 minutes on average, but sometimes 45 min to an hour or more. We all like talking about the deep stuff but rarely get the chance to. For some of us it's been maybe even years since being asked to share our thoughts. It's weird to not remember what connection feels like, kind of dark and lonely mixed with a little bit of hope that "one day..". People know more what it feels like to be anxious than to be happy.

Remind yourself how you felt around your friends when you met and how they treat new people. If you've surrounded yourself with good people, you will get clear examples on how accepting people usually are of strangers and that your nightmare scenarios are in your head.
